Not quite but almost! Test again in the morning and should get your positive. Has to be same colour or darker than the control line xx

I’m so confused too about ovulation sticks, I think I ovulated on Thursday, so if had sex yesterday couldn’t I still potentially conceive? My lines look exactly the same as yours and I wasn’t sure what to think either. I never knew until today that a faint line always appeared irrespective of when in the month the test is taken.

The clearblue digital ones are fab but they are so expensive I've had the flashing face since the other day but ran out and had these lying so been using these and the lines are getting darker for sure but don't want to miss the peak. Just going to DTD every second night and hopefully won't miss it xxx

This was this mornings, darker again and pretty much the same colour...is this looking more positive since its the same colour? Or is it still negative?

It's getting there, though not quite peak. With mine I find the test line gets as dark or darker than the control line when my peak arrives. Are you testing in the morning or in the evening? LH is usually more detectable in the evenings as it's in higher concentrations in the urine by then.

BUBBLE09 · 05/06/2022 11:40

I do one in morning and then another in the evening with the test strips, wish I had just bought more clear blue digital ones now haha! More easier to read lol! Will try again tonight, hopeless with these test strips lol xxxx

Thanks for replying, It's the first I've ever gotten a positive on these so wanted to double check so I didn't miss it. Xxx

Mine rarely gets darker than this! Does that mean I don’t ovulate? Really confusing as I get the CM and have a period 2 weeks later 🤔

@CatherineDa its likely you are just missing it. How often do you test a day? The best time to test is between 10am and 8pm. When mine started to get darker I tested twice a day until i caught my peak. For some people it can last a day others it’s peaked and coming back down in a couple of hours so it easy to miss

Hankthehonk · 10/06/2023 16:32

Well done catching your positive OP! I was confused by this at first as well but I really like the premom app as you take a photo of the test and it tells you what ratio it it, and also marks it low high or peak. You can use any brand with the app.

CatherineDa · 10/06/2023 22:02

I only test once a day when I first wake up so definitely before 10! I have tried testing later on but I think the urine is too diluted. I will try and test twice and within that time frame. Thank you so much for your advice 😊

CatherineDa · 10/06/2023 22:05

@Hankthehonk that app sounds great! I’ll start using that, thank you so much!

Hankthehonk · 11/06/2023 06:39

@CatherineDa opk tests are different from pregnancy tests in that you're not supposed to use first morning urine. Definitely try testing later and at least twice a day around the time you expect your peak. If you have a rapid peak (like me) you might not catch it testing once daily. I hope the premom app helps!
