Brand new and TTC

So I'm brand new to all of this. I'm 31 and have my fab 12 year old son but he was a lovely surprise lol so didn't need to think about ovulation etc. looking for all your fabulous words of wisdom to get me through 😁🤞🏼 xx

I'm 31 as well and will be TTC for my first soon. I've been tracking my ovulation for months now to get to know my cycle. Obsessively tracking so it can only get worse when I am actually TTC haha.

Ohh good luck to you 😁 how exciting it being your first. We get married in a few weeks so we have still been careful for now so will be actively trying in a couple of weeks, probs after AF shows 😁 I just hate being out of control and not knowing what's happening 🤦‍♀️ xx

hey, would love to watch this feed. me and DH are 27 and started ttc in March. we fell pregnant straight away but i went through a chemical pregnancy 1 week after finding out, i have just had a period so hoping to try again in cycle 3. i have brought loads of ovulation tests to try and catch the right week/ day + i have tried to take my temp but I’m very consistent with that. i have tried an app called fertility friend but it’s a little complicated for me. please let me know if anyone else knows of any good apps? good luck everyone 💖

@mmp22 I find the femometer app pretty decent for logging opks! It's very straightforward to use

I am 29 and will be TTC after our wedding too! I have just ordered some folic acid (what is the recommended amount to take?) and the preseed. I take magnesium and vitamin D daily anyway.

I was thinking of starting the OPK's too but haven't got around to it yet x

@10ksteps i have heard mixed reviews on preseed. we are on cycle #3 of trying and i haven’t mentioned it to DH yet; I’m hoping we get pregnant on this cycle as we have agreed to not use OPKs this month and just DTD every other day.. i think we will wait a few cycles before we try preseed.. what made you buy it?
