When to DTD?

Hi,

I have a few apps and between all of them, they're showing me June 8th and June 10th as Ovulation. When would you DTD to assure both dates are covered?

(FWIW the month I conceived - 12th cycle of trying - I thought I had no chance as hadn't been able to DTD on the 'right' days. So shows how much I know!)

I've conceived all 3 of mine by dtd every other day after AF finishing. Start tonight and at least every other day until AF arrives or you get a positive test!

Now that I'm done dancing to your screen name (how can you not?!) Your suggestion sounds exhausting haha although I'm sure hubby wouldn't mind. Will see what we can do...fingers crossed x

I took the attitude that every month is a lottery and you've got to be in it to win it!

If you're in the early months of trying, don't over think it. It's easy to get a bit stressed/obsessed by the whole thing. If you're several months in then you might want to test for when you ovulate to check that it roughly corresponds to what the apps are saying (for me they generally did correspond, but I know some people find out that they ovulate a bit earlier or later in their cycle than average).

We've been TTC for almost 2 years.
Usually my apps coincide with each other but this month both the 8th and 10th are showing as Ovulation day. It's strange. I will keep taking Ovulation tests but I asked my question so that I can try to make sure we DTD whether ovulation is the 8th or 10th.

Maybe think about trying to bbt, at least for a cycle because ovulation date can be quite off. My friend actually ovulated a day before her peak opk! And I ovulate two days later so I think I missed the window quite a lot, because by peak ovulation I was already too exhausted 😂

OP sorry to hear you've been trying so long. I know how hard it can be to keep going month after month. Have you had any blood tests done by your GP? I discovered my thyroid was underactive - and my TSH was at a level that would have made conception unlikely.
