hi; can i join? just had my period so TTC on cycle #3 at 27/yo.. does anyone have any tips apart from tracking ovulations with OPKs?

I would also like to join...I'm a first-timer, cycle 1, currently 10DPO I think.

Had a negative cheapie test on 8DPO and negative FRER yesterday (there may have been a ghost of a line, but looked like an indent), so not getting my hopes up much for the first round.

Thanks everyone for AF messages. Been having a few drinks this weekend as I thought AF was showing bit I seem to have stopped bleeding this afternoon. Not writing AF off through as I get spotting before AF and just happy my luteal phase has extended!

@Dreamingof3 I'm doing ok been trying to keep myself distracted! Still cramping lots but that could be a good or a bad thing so trying not to read too much into it. Tested last night and got a 1-2 weeks on digital. I was 4+2 yesterday so was hoping for 2-3 but know 1-2 could potentially be ok as only just 4 weeks. I have 2 FRERs left and a digital. Going to do a FRER tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday I think (if I can manage a decent hold) and then the digital on Thursday/Friday when I'll be 5 weeks as I should get 2-3 by then! I'm hoping for a better line if I do it in the afternoon as my afternoon one on 13dpo was better than the morning! Will be 16dpo tomorrow.

@lj2022 sorry it looks like AF has arrived. Keep us up to date.

Just wanted to check in, nothing new with me just in the TWW. We DTD last night anyway, I hope we are getting into the swing of doing it more often so I'm feeling a bit less stressed about the next few cycles if we are still trying then 🤞

@LucyLoopyLu in the TWW here too, will probably cave and test far to early next weekend because I can't help myself, although feeling very unoptimistic about this cycle already

Aw lovely! How are you feeling? I had a headache all night and this morning that wouldn't go away and some cramping this morning. I don't know what that means as it feels too early haha. AF due on 13th

I'm also 5DPO! AF due 15th June.
I might test on 13th or 14th but will try and wait as long as possible- I don't have many tests

@LucyLoopyLu I think I'm.due on 14th! Not sure when to test yet

@newjourney21 I've been so tired the last couple of days but keep telling myself it's just because it's been a full on weekend 🤣 trying to keep busy but time is dragging!

I'm 5dpo too!
I've had a cracker of a headache all today and yesterday but I think that was because I did night shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Finally starting to ease up a bit now.

I want to hold off testing until the weekend, I got some pregnosis tests today because I don't think the cheapest I bought from Amazon will get here until AF is due anyway.

My fiance (haha still find that funny!) told me to wait until my periods late....he said what's the point 🙈

Ok so I caved and tested this morning. Line is barely there so clearly not progressing. Feel like I'm just waiting to start bleeding now 😭

BFN for me, disappointing but at least I can get on with stuff at my appointment- on my way to the hospital now.

Not sure what to think about that appointment, really.

She agreed that the situation of months between periods followed by ridiculous heavy bleeding is not acceptable, and needs to be dealt with. But at the same time, it's come down to weight again.

I have to see a dietitian before Metformin can be considered, and I got the usual "just lose some weight".

They're doing a bunch of blood tests as well, though, and I've been prescribed progesterone every 2 weeks to trigger a period.

@WingingIt09 I am so so sorry that your tests aren't progressing. Look after yourself and hope you're okay
