Peak opk early?

last month my period was late by 2 days but on those two days I had spotting. If you don’t count the spotting I was cycle day 10 when I got my peak opk. (If you do count the spotting I was day 12) my issue is I don’t normally hit peak until CD14 and above. The only reason I started testing at 10dpo was to make sure I didn’t miss my surge in the next few days.

since that peak opk I have had lighter and lighter lines appearing on the tests. (I’m going to test until 16dpo just incase)

has anyone had this happen?

the peak test (posted below) came 2 days after EWCM and increased sex drive. I had sex 2 days before the test and one day after. (Because it was a massive surprise and I panicked thinking I’ve missed my fertile window)

anyone have advice? Should I disregard that opk as maybe just a rise before my actual ovulation LH surge? I’m so confused.

thank you for reading x

Op do a pregnancy test.... That period/spotting you had could have been implantation bleeding......

I assume your AF started once the spotting was over? And yes, the first cycle day is when the flow starts, spotting should be disregarded.
It is very early for a peak, and for the eggs to mature, but it is not uncommon to have an odd cycle every now and then. But I would not stop testing if I were you, maybe it was a first surge and there will be a second? With bbt you might find out if you ovulated, but with only opk it is a bit of a guesswork right...
