Hello

Anyone used the Clearblue Ovulation Test kits (10 tests) ?

It says it identifies 4 most fertile days.

I have in average a 24 day cycle.

When should I test and should I test first thing in the morning?

Any tips or experience most welcome

Thanks all 😊

I found the leaflet, might help you :)
www.clearblue.com/sites/default/files/wysiwyg/products/leaflets/504351_11%20English.pdf
Basically if you buy it, it will tell you exactly when to start. I personally never used it, I have the fertility monitor and it is very easy to use. As I found it to be too expensive over time I switched to the cheap easy@home sticks.

I've read the leaflet and have been testing since CD 6 as suggested. I have a 24 day cycle on average. Circle every time I'm on CD 10....

I'm having ovulation induction and the fertility nurse recommended the Clearblue ones that give you 2 days (just static smiley). It's better to test first thing as the LH will be more concentrated in your urine.

@Hopeislost I tested on Saturday morning which is day 10 for me, I got a static smiley face!
I tested on Sunday morning and got a static smiley face!

What does this mean?

I tested both first wee when woke up.

I haven't had a flashing face. I got a circle on Thursday morning.

So I ovulate day 11??

I haven’t had those ones but I use the 2 day ones. If they are similar (which I think they are) then you will ovulate anytime in the next 24 hours.

Not that I think it matters but I always thought you shouldn’t use morning wee for ovulation tests…. I’m now wondering if I’ve made it up 😳

I did an experiment with the CB and the cheapies from Amazon and found the results to be the same too, if you’re not fussed about how they look they are £12.99 for 50.

winterfox78 · 06/06/2022 02:15

@Thestoppedfan the instructions say test first thing in morning..,,

But if I do a test later in the afternoon....how many hours since last cuppa etc?

only test once a day, with your first morning wee.

the smiley face means you’re ovulating or are about to, so have sex on those days and a few days after.

winterfox78 · 06/06/2022 05:13

Thanks!
I can't test anymore now as the smiley face is permanently on the tester...so? A good sign 😊

I used these to conceive my DD and just started again now for our second. This month I went from blank circle to static smiley, which was earlier than I expected to ovulate. Currently 8dpo so waiting to test end of this week 🤞.

winterfox78 · 06/06/2022 10:02

@Bella9992 same here! I was shocked that I actually got a static face 😊
It's still on the stick - apparently will stay for 48 hours.

Why did we not get a flashing face this time?
