Saw you were feeling down on the other thread and just wanted to tell you to keep your chip up - the fertile turtle will look after you

Thanks shelly - fingers crossed for me... do turtles have fingers??

shellythefertileturtle · 13/01/2008 16:41

No I don't have fingers Actually my legs don't reach to cross either so I'll cross my eyes for you instead

Oh Ready sorry you're feeling down big hugs. Can I do anything to cheer you up?

Ready · 13/01/2008 16:57

Yeah! Come to my house, pee on a stick, and we can pretend the BFP is mine for a couple of hours
I'll be reet - just getting to me a little, all this relentless ftc

Ready · 13/01/2008 16:58

PMSL at crossed eyes instead of fingers

cityangel · 13/01/2008 16:59

Oh dear... could do..

When do you get to have the Chenin?

cityangel · 13/01/2008 17:00

I bet your dh would be surprised to discover some random bird pissing in his loo!

BellaBear · 13/01/2008 17:00

Oh poor you Ready. What's the situation at the moment with treatment and so on?

shellythefertileturtle · 13/01/2008 17:36

Hi BellaBear and cityangel
I'm glad you're here to help me cheer Ready up

OP posts:

I succombed City and had a glass last night

Bella, My life is not settled enough to go down the intervention route, dh on short term contracts and we could be moving again in a few months, so not going back to gynae until we are more settled, and don't know when that will be - just hoping it will happen naturally, but it is looking less and less likely. All the tests ok and first gynae consultant suggests that it just a matter of time... but I am CD25 and just getting stressed out.

I feel bad moaning, I have a good life, and nothing really to complain about. Just having a bit of a paddy about ftc

cityangel · 13/01/2008 17:43

Cool I hope it helped.

Even though you have a good life it doesn't mean you should feel bad about wanting something so natural. Fingers crossed for you and big hugs on their way over from London.

Ready · 13/01/2008 17:51

Thanks very much City, I have to remain optimistic. It's not in my nature to be so negative. Always looking for the silver linings.

cityangel · 13/01/2008 17:59

Me too but it is tough there's no getting away from wanting something that for no clear reason isn't happening.

I hope you and dh can plan some fun stuff to take your mind off it. Maybe a holiday/ weekend away?

BellaBear · 13/01/2008 18:31

Fair enough, sounds sensible. And for what it's worth, you're not being silly having a moan at all.

Ready · 13/01/2008 20:11

Thanks girls

How are you feeling Bella? Not too long to go now? You prepared??

City, are you going to post a pic of your scan up? I'll understand if you want to keep it private, but I'd love to sneak a peek

cityangel · 13/01/2008 20:17

Really sure I'll give it a go. I need to check with dh (who is away) how to use the scanner software. It's pole dancing around the umbilical chord quite a funny pic!

Ready · 13/01/2008 20:20

Excellent Look forward to it.

Told dh that I was feeling low (he asked why my eyes were sad) and so he has suggested a romantic evening curled up on the sofa, we are going to watch Top Hat as I have never seen it before, and it is a feelgood movie apparently

cityangel · 13/01/2008 22:25

Your dh sounds lovely, I hope you are enjoying it right now big hugs

Ready · 15/01/2008 21:43

my dh is lovely and Top Hat was a great film. I totally reccommend it
