@MamaSJ15 it's hot but cloudy. Think we had a bit of sun earlier but I'm confined to one room today after freaking everyone out with a coughing and weeping episode this morning. I'm off another week now also on doxycycline @alwaysseeingstars 😂 thank you covid 🙄

I'm CD 12, have started testing and the flashing smiley is there already - another 10 days to go till ov based on previous months!! 🙄Think I'll just do one every other day and a cheapie on the other days..
@MrsGrealish ah no, the dreaded antibiotics! I'm halfway through mine now and not even vaguely better 😔a fever definitely doesn't help in this weather!

I'm having THE heaviest period. Literally just had to vanish a bed sheet. I'm hoping the bit of tissue is defo gone now and the brown spotting I had last cycle stops 🙏

No news here, CD12, I think my surge happened yesterday and O today - but ran out of opks on Saturday so no way of knowing for sure! I picked some up from Boots but I think I’ve missed it. Not that it really matters I suppose as we’ve been DTD most nights. So yeah, just entering the 2ww now!

mrs g that sounds horrible - a heatwave, covid and heavy period 😔 look after yourself - get hubby to pick you up your favourite drinks and snacks! Hope you feel better soon.

@Wouldloveanother well done you for DTD in the heat! Do you know what day you normally ovulate? TMI but there's no missing my ovulation..is there such a thing as too much fertile CM 🙈

I have literally wasted £40 buying vitamin supplements from Amazon today..why are they all so expensive 🤷‍♀️ I think I'm over the worst and it's a little cooler today thank god xx

Normally I ovulate day 12, but can be 11 or 13. The sex has been a bit ‘handmaids tale’ lol, mainly me lying there dying in the heat while DH does what he needs! Finally got some opks from boots - would you say this is positive? 🧐

I'm gonna go with CD5, not sure what day to day this cycle started on because I had brown spotting for a good 5 days before AF properly kicked in. But now I've had a pretty consistent period, doesn't really seem to be slowing and its proper bright red too. Really hope it stops soon 😭

I think I’ve either just missed the peak-peak, or it’s just around the corner - will test again before bed. Either way we’ve done the deed at the right times so nothing more to be done really!

@alwaysseeingstars thanks, I feel like it might be trying to slow down a bit today 👍 and it's a lot cooler today too so overall a win! But I'm still knackered from not sleeping because of the heat so fingers crossed tonight is better!

@MamaSJ15 gosh I hope so, I could not get to sleep last night and I'm in the SW so not even near the worst of it! Really did feel for anyone in the really hot areas last night.

covid day 7 and FINALLY feeling a little better! I just don't understand I caught omicron in February and this felt so much worse. Do vaccines only work for 3 months?? And where was my natural immunity? I'll be masking up again in work 🤬

Still not pregnant but CD 6 and bleeding has stopped. Yay!! I'm like a new woman. Not sure whether I'll try this cycle. I've just felt so bad I want to feel well for a bit

@MrsCristiano I'm glad you're starting to feel better! I've not had Covid yet but I know people do seem to deal with it (and the different strains) very differently! Definitely no one hat suits all approach with it. Glad AF has stopped too!! Is it worth ditching the OPK's etc this month, still DTD and if it happens it happens? Gives your mind a bit of a break from it at least! Easier said than done though 😂
I'm CD15 today, usually seem to ovulate CD22ish.. had flashing smile yesterday and 2 days prior, now onto a static today - but 0.3 on the cheapies?! Very confusing, really do wish I could have a straightforward cycle for a change!
I did have a false CB peak a couple of months ago so maybe it's that again? xx

@alwaysseeingstars oh you might be like DH. Everyone in my house has had it, I've had it twice, he works with many people who have had it but still testing negative and feeling fine!! I dread if he gets it though covid has a really bad effect on sperm for like 3 months😩

Those OPKs are a head melter. Trust the static and DTD anyway though. I think the cheapies take a day or 2 longer from my vast reading of mumsnet threads this past week😂
Good idea though. Im not doing them, don't have enough anyway. Will just see where the month takes me. No pressure 😊 No stress 😊 sounds fabulous! Also kinda hoping the doxycycline did clear up any infection that the miscarriage may have brought on even though it was for the chest infection. I had a load of brown spotting since my last peak..couldn't hurt anyway xx

@MrsCristiano oh does it? With rising cases I'll deffo be keeping DH in haha, not having yet something else get in the way 😂
To be honest I was shielding for a long time and have just been (probably too) careful since, I have COPD and dread to think how I'd react - I turn the mildest bug into something bad.
OK thanks, I'm still a bit new to the cheapie OPK game - not sure which to trust! Luckily DTD last night, will try to persuade him tonight and tomorrow 😊
Make the most of these non-OPK days, do NOT go on Amazon, haha, and maybe treat yourself and DH to a meal out/night away - did you ever get to celebrate your promotion after all the stress and bad times you've been through?! xx

@alwaysseeingstars no such a thing as too careful! I got pretty blasé about it and started telling people to 'live with the virus' like an absolute idiot and look at me know😞 my legs are like water. I'll be masking up and keeping my distance! Copd and covid do not mix well😢

No celebrations yet. I seem to run from one disaster to another atm. Barcelona in September and I cannot wait (all being well 🤞🤞)

Hi all, also had a username change (HS99). Hope everyone’s well.
I’m currently around 12 DPO but not been tracking this month. Have been having plenty of BFNs but just randomly decided to do one this afternoon. Had a few cramps and very light pink discharge on wiping this morning.

what do you guys think of this? Evap line? It doesn’t look as grey as the left hand line but not sure as I’ve only ever had stark white Bfns 😂

Can I join. I am currently ttc number 2. Pretty sure I've just had a chemical this cycle. We have been trying over a year and I could do with some friends :( I really want another baby now

@Chocolat it looks pink but not right in the centre like my tests were. 🧐 did it come up in time frame?
