Hoping for some help from you TTCers. My cycle is pretty consistently 35 days. I'm currently on CD24 and had some bleeding a few hours ago (nothing since). Not hugely heavy but bright red (sorry TMI). I've been TTC for months, had a m/c in the summer, but cycles have been pretty regular since then. What do you think this bleeding is? I don't think I could bear another m/c.

It could be so many things, NNFN. Cervical abrasion, polyp, implantation bleed... I had this once and the doc said not to worry about it unless it kept happening, in which case they would investigate for e.g. fibroids, cervical erosion. I understand how anxious you feel about m/c but it doesn't sound as though you have any particular reason to worry about that right now.

Anyone else have any better advice?

(((hugs))) It is impossible to know for certain what this is....as you have all days left on cycle there are a few things I think it could be.

You could have a delayed ovulation. I had a red bleed when i fell pg with ds. But it was brief and not more than a spot or three. We bd on that day and bingo. I got a + test 3 weeks later!

IT could be implantation bleeding (which would happen 7-10 days after ovulation) as that is fresh blood (red) also.

It could also be that your hormones are not right this cycle and that you spot until af arrives properly (that may be earlier than normal also).

I really hope this is implantation...but you won't know for sure until you can test on cd35.

sorry not to be able to give you an easy answer....thinking of you
xx

nnfn, agree it could be so many things. I had odd bits of bleeding after my mc, sort of mid month stuff. But then I also had bleeding when I conceived this one too. I guess it's just too soon to tell. I can remember the feelings when it happened - was it af (in which case terrible cos I haven't conceived) was it implantation (in which case terrible cos I couldn't cope with mc again). I'm 18 weeks and I still don't believe I'm going to have a baby at the end of this. I'm not meaning to sound doom and gloom, I'm saying you're not alone in feeling scared.

Hi NNFN. As your cycle is pretty regular I don't really think it's m/c. Could be early AF, could be random mid-cycle bleeding, could be implantation! I agree wit hester - get it checked out if it it keeps happening.
fisil, I really know how you feel. I'm 13 weeks today, had an early m/c in the summer. I too am finding it really hard to believe that this baby is really going to come.

Thanks ladies. Well the bleeding's stopped so I guess I'll just have to wait and see...

Tell us what happens, NNFN. Really hope it's good news for you

To update - bleeding started up again later that day and I bled for about 10 days (in fact pretty much right up until the day AF was due). It wasn't as heavy as a period. Bleeding then stopped for 3 days and started (this time very very lightly) last night. I did a preg test on Monday night (CD37) but got a BFN. Have lots of pg symptoms, but we TTCers know that they can mean very little...

Any thoughts anyone?
