Spotting just before AF starts

we are going to start to ttc (my second but my OH’s first) next cycle and I think I am about to come on and have started spotting. If I was to come on properly tomorrow would I count today at CD1 or tomorrow? I’m not sure if spotting counts. I tend to spot the day before AF arrives full force

Day 1 of your cycle is the first day of your period, meaning the first day of full flow (spotting doesn't count)

Hey, just wanted to say hello. We sound like we are at similar stages. Im waiting on my first proper AF to arrive so we can start trying. I came off the pill on May 4th and had withdrawal bleed 8th May so 28 days from that will be Sunday and I’ve had lots of spotting this week and cramps so 🤞🏼. We have a child each but don’t have one together and been together 11 years and we get married in 3 weeks so lots happening and I pray we fall quickly 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Im 31 so a bit nervous it could be harder xx

@Stephanie226 hello! You will be absolutely fine 🥰 I was nearly 30 when I conceived my first. I’m now 37 so fully expecting it to be harder this time round.

AF still hasn’t arrived. I have been having a slight tinge sometimes when I wipe (not every time and nothing coming out on liners) since Tuesday morning. I was due on on Monday but I realised I ovulated late when I was doing opk’s so probably why AF is late. I thought at first I just have a short LP but looks like I don’t it’s just typical the first month I track my ovulation is the month my cycle goes all wrong so I’m still none the wiser 😂

That’s so funny cos I was just reading about short luteal phases. I had horrible stomach and back pains on Monday, so I used an OPK which was darkest I’ve had all through cycle but still wasn’t darker than control line so I thought well im due to ovulate but then the lines just got weaker so not sure if I did ovulate or not so not sure whether to expect AF at the weekend or not 🤷🏼‍♀️ I promised myself I wouldn’t get into all this but I couldn’t help myself 🤦‍♀️ I thought it would be exciting but im already stressed and haven’t even started trying yet 😂 xx
