Hi
Just wondering if anyone could help me.
I don't have my full scan results as I'm currently waiting on them to be sent over from the hospital to my GP.
I had a 24mm cyst on left ovary in September last year and as I've been having issues with my periods, they sent me for another scan which I had today.
Whilst doing the scan I heard the sonographer tell the other lady in the room some numbers to write down on the system. She said one that I don't remember at all (some sort of 3 letter combination eg SKX) but the other one was "right 4.4"
After the scan I asked them if the cyst on my left ovary had gone and she said yes.
I asked if everything looked OK and she said I had a bit of fluid (not sure where?!). I asked if that was normal and she said it can be and that they aren't qualified to tell me my results and to wait until my next gynae app (which is in July) for the results.
I went onto dreaded Google search to find what "right 4.4" could be reference too and can't find anything. And also what fluid in the uterus means, all results seem to mention is its no good for IVF (I'm not doing ivf)
Just wondered if anyone has any information they could share until I get hold of my results?
What could "right 4.4" be in reference to? There was no mention of the left.
And what about fluid in uterus means?
The scan was done on cycle day 16 so this is around ovulation for me, give or take a few days as my period isn't 100% on time each month
Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
