Hi all, mumsnetters.

me and my husband are TTC currently however I have noticed after the deed is done and when he pulls out, it feels like he pulls all the swimmers out with him when he removes himself from me?

is this normal?

He does spray allot even after 24 hours he seems to be refilled to the brim.

we’ve been trying for 5 months, I was on the pill many years and he’s done two sperm tests and they ask come back to normal to high motility after tests.

I know it can take months for body to go back to normal after being on the pill for so long?

I am 32 and so my husband.

Bit of a odd quest but do you have a reflexed (tilted) uterus? I do and we had this problem. I didn't conceive until a doctor told me to lie on my tummy after sex (rather than staying on your back with a pillow under your hips which was the common advice but totally wrong for me).

Hi there, I do have a tilted Cervix, but never heard of this method.

I know this because when I go for a smear test I have to tilt my pelvis upwards.

It does depend which way its tilted. Maybe one to ask your doctor? Or you could experiment and see if you retain things better that way. For most people on your back with a pillow under your hips works really well, which is something else you could try.

Well I'm not a doctor but that sounds like a good sign. I conceived after 1 month of doing this w ds1, so fingers crossed for you.

Thank you, why do you find it so effective? Surely this method cannot be that much improvement

For me it was an improvement because it got the sperm where it needed to go, for most people (those whose uterus isn't reflexed like mine) it wouldn't work. All I know is that I spent 11 months ttc with no luck until I tried this. I can't promise it will work for you mind.

I think with the experiment earlier; hardly any fell out did you experience this?

Yes.
