Hello
I and my DH have been looking at IVF centres in north Cyprus. I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of IVF centres in north Cyprus?
Thanks :)

Hi there!! I'm currently pregnant (still feels weird saying it), by Dunya IVF.

I had an amazing experience over there. I loved my doctor, dr Burke, I don't know how he manages it, but his voice was like a tranquillizer, every time he spoke, all my nerves were gone and I was the calmest most positive person in the world!

I felt precious, and like they were on my team, something that I needed because I am single, but they didn't make me feel alone.

If you have any questions about them, or about the clinic, or how I decided to use them message me I will be happy to help out.

@goingincognito1 may I ask what made you consider north cyprus for ivf? is it cheaper? sorry if I'm being impolite, I want to go ahead to ivf too and wanted to learn how you decided

@IsabelHerna I love how you talk about your doctor, unfortunately it has become rare to be treated like a human being. Congratulations x

@IsabelHerna How long did you have to stay in Cyprus for IVF? Congratulation btw so happy for you.

I learned this from the article “7 Questions to Ask a Clinic.” I usually start by looking at websites that list the best clinics (for example, fertility clinics abroad) or by using tools like ChatGPT or Gemini to create a shortlist.
The article recommends contacting clinics directly and asking about:

  • their success rates for your specific age and case
  • their experience with similar patients
  • the full cost (including any hidden fees or add-ons)
  • how much time you may need to spend with them to achieve results
If your case isn’t too complex, a good, patient-friendly clinic should be willing to provide personalized answers. I personally avoid clinics that aren’t willing to invest time in clear and supportive communication. I also recommend asking how they calculate their success rates—whether they refer to clinical pregnancy rates or live birth rates, and for which age group. This makes a big difference in how you interpret the numbers. For example, I recently saw a statistic showing around 65% success rates for IVF with frozen embryo transfer using a patient’s own eggs, which sounds OK. But then it clarified that for women aged 43+, the success rate drops to around 5%. So it’s really important to understand the context behind these figures. Also, a clinic doesn’t have to be very well-known to be a good choice—sometimes less “brand-name” clinics have more relevant experience with specific cases. And don’t forget to check the quality of their laboratory, as this plays a crucial role in outcomes. Hope this helps, and good luck.
