TWW driving me mad!

I hear you. I'm not the best at working out my ovulation day either. I think I have a longish LH surge which always confuses me about when is best to have sex. Anyways, buy the cheapie tests. Amazon does a pack of 50 for like a fiver. Get those and waste them to your heart's content. Lol. I'm trying not to. On this cycle I've decided I'm not buying any so I actually can't test and get disappointed 😒 xxx

Wait until Monday and then test. I know it’s hard but if you’ve only just started trying then you really don’t want to fall into the whole early testing / obsessive googling whole as it could end up being a long TTC journey (although hopefully not!).

(I’m a complete obsessive testing and googler myself so I can’t really talk but I really wish I’d done what I did with my DS which was just to test on the day AF is due).

Thanks - I know you're right... I have only just started TTC and I have no idea how I'm going to cope with months or years of this uncertainty... need to find a way to control my anxiety about it all! Xx

Have just taken your advice and ordered cheap ones! Though am going to try to hold off for a while...

It's hard isn't it... now that I don't have any, I'm slightly less tempted... I hope. My current plan is IVF in July/August if nothing happens naturally and it kinda helps having a deadline and feeling like I'm doing something other than having loads of exhausting, slightly painful, sex during the fertile window. We will see what the future brings xx

I was nauseated the whole 9 months with DS. I have had 3 chemical pregnancies and I am on the waiting list for referral.
Nice to chat to others going through the TWW hell lol.

Hi there! I'm same as first poster. Body trying to ovulate, I stopped bf end of April to ttc (no post partum periods yet) and have had signs like ewcm but then last sat I got a positive on opk (it wasnt a very strong positive though so I dunno). Cm dried up until maybe yest when there seemed to be more of it and its kinda sticky (so sorry tmi) that could be trying to ovulate starting again though. And I had cramps day before yest but none since. Ugh I don't know. Tww is crap!

Came off combined pill beginning of April. Body has tried to ovulate but no luck. Then on 13 & 14 we dtd and on the 15th I had obvious EWCM and 16th I had ov pains. Then since Tuesday 17th I've had cramps every day (particularly bad on 21st) burning sore nipples and yellowish cm. No idea what day post ovulation I am... bfn so far on FRER & other tests. Can't stop googling symptoms and wasting money on tests. It's getting me down because I think it's unlikely I'm pregnant. Has anyone else been in the same boat with the same symptoms? I have PCO but had regular periods before the pill.

It is crap isn't it. I'm still having cramps - not entirely sure what dpo I'm on. Wondering whether the daily cramps, which I have had since ovulation and have never experienced before, could be my body gearing up for its first period having come off the pill in April. I hope it's either AF or BFP rather than just nothing at all... because I just want to know that my body is working and able to ovulate! Good luck keep me updated!

Same! I would prefer arrival of AF (obv bfp would be amazing) to stop the perpetual cycle of guessing and to know my body is working as it should. I feel like there's been no progress in the last few weeks. I will keep you updated and good luck to you as well!! :-)

Yes my TWW has only just started. I'm TTC baby #1 and I've run out of tests, so now I can't test every minute 😅 Keeping my fingers crossed for us both mama, hugs xxx

Ok..so I bought the tests today and couldn’t resist. Did one this evening at 10dpo and got a BFP. Now the wait begins as I’ve had 3 CP previous.

Same here! Mine arrived on Wednesday - first time since coming off the pill in April. So relieved... just waiting to see what happens next

Well, second cycle and i got my bfp! A faint one but coming up on less sensitive IC tests too. It happened more quickly than I thought it would, given PCOS & endometriosis. This test was from 10dpo. I am cramping though... quite bad ones. And running to the loo So we'll see what happens... Now 11dpo and prepared for it to go either way. Thanks for the advice everyone!
