Could this be a chemical?

On Saturday morning I had 2 very faint positive FRERs. Last night, I took another which I thought was negative at first but ended up having a very faint line (see pic). I then waited until this morning and used fmu to do another FRER which looked totally negative! Not sure when I ovulated but I had spotting for 24 hours last Monday/Tuesday which I thought was implantation. No idea what to think now 🥴🤯🤷🏻‍♀️ Any advice welcome! Thanks in advance!

We’re the lines only visible after opening the test up?

MamaSJ15 · 24/05/2022 18:55

Sounds like it could be a chemical, sorry. I had a similar thing a few months back where my tests got lighter and ended up negative. Either that or it's just taking a little longer to get stronger. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

@Idhatetolookintothoseeyes I opened it up to double check 🤣 began spotting this afternoon so likely it’s a chemical? ☹️

@MamaSJ15 sorry to hear that ☹️ How are you doing?

@Grace2296 I'm okay thank you, it was back in August/September time it happened. It was a bit confusing for us actually because we were trying then when I started bleeding, assumed it was AF and had a discussion and decided to stop trying and maybe stick with one child (we have reasons for this!), Then decided to do a test to make sure before going back on the pill to find it was positive! But it was fading out. But we started trying again a couple of months ago because we can see how much we want a sibling for our DD. 😊

Do you have any children or are you TTC your first?

@MamaSJ15 I’m glad you managed to come to a decision that you feel is right for your family and wish you lots of luck and baby dust! 🤞🏻 We have a 14mo little boy. We are enjoying him so much but would like a close ish age gap between the next one if possible 😬

@Grace2296 thank you 😊 I always say that things happen when they are meant to and the time is right. I believe that when I got my positive last year, it wasn't the right time.
Aww lovely 😊 I hope you get your positive soon. Have you been trying for a while?

Grace2296 · 24/05/2022 20:56

@MamaSJ15 I believe so too! We have only just started trying so was very surprised to see a faint line this month as it took us almost a year for our baby boy 😊 fingers crossed for us both 🥰
