Teeth whitening whilst TTC

Wasn't sure whether to post this in Beauty or in Conception.

I'm about to top up my whitening using the dentist's Enlighten teeth whitening treatment. I have custom made moulds with gels. These go in overnight for a week.

Is this safe to use whilst TTC?

I definitely wouldn't do it whilst pregnant, but wasn't sure if it would be okay to use pre-conception whilst trying.

@ttcfirsttimer24 It's actually safe to do in pregnancy, the only issue is that the teeth themselves undergo changes during pregnancy....it's not harmful to the baby/fetus.

So whilst TTC I would absolutely go ahead!

It's not licenced for use in pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding so if you believe you might be pregnant the recommendation is to stop at this point but there are no known issues whilst TTC.

Bumping this one. I've finally received my Crest Whitestrips in the post and can't wait to use them! I'm currently 39+4 and planning on BF for at least 6 months. The information on teeth whitening during pregnancy and BFing is really vague, where can I find reliable information on this?

I'd rather not wait until my next dental appointment in October and my doctor won't tell me.
