Smear test TTC

I'm due a smear in August but TTC and I know you can't have one pregnant. Does anyone know if you can bring it forward to get it done before you get pregnant?

Have you rung your surgery to ask them to bring it forward?

You can book a smear test as soon as you receive your letter inviting you for screening. Any earlier than that and the lab won't process it - nothing your surgery can do to change that. Letters usually go out 6-8 weeks before your screening due date so shouldn't be long for you to wait.

You cannot have one before it is due.

I just booked my smear in for the day after my period finished so that it didn’t stop us TTC that month and we ended up falling pregnant that month!
