TTC, 2 Week Wait!? Advice? :)

Hello Everyone!

I'm relatively new to posting on here so please excuse me not knowing all the right terminology 😊

(I had the contraceptive implant removed back in November and I have had regular periods almost immediately after it being removed)

So I am currently about half way through my two week wait and due to start my period on the 29th of May.

The last few days I have been extremely tired with some on and off cramping in my lower belly. I'm not sure if I'm just symptoms spotting and trying to convince myself that this could be the month! 😣
I guess I'm just asking if anyone else is in the same position as me and what, if any symptoms you're having? And if anyone has been in the same position and has had a positive test what were your, if any symptoms?

Thank you guys! 💖

Advice from a long time TTC person - ignore all symptoms, that way madness lies.

I can relate to TTC for a long time (3+ years) I have never had a BFP but let me tell you I've had every symptom you could imagine. I've learnt now to pay no mind to it. Early pregnancy symptoms and pre menstrual symptoms are pretty much the same. If anything those I know who have gotten a BFP have said that particular month they didn't have any symptoms 😅 now if I'm tired, or my boobs start hurting or i feel crampy or any of the other symptoms I've convinced myself is a pregnancy sign many many times over I now tell myself AF is on route instead until proven otherwise as it's easier to swallow that way 🙈✨

Hi @rayn911

I’m also pretty new here and I am in a very similar situation to you. I had my implant removed in February. My periods have been irregular since then, so started clear blue opks this month to try to get an accurate idea of when I’ll ovulate.

I’ve been symptom spotting like mad, just can’t help it! I did an clear blue early detection test this morning and got BFN. AF is due on 26th according to app. Since things have been irregular (21 and 26 days so far, I can’t be sure exactly when she will show up!

Keeping fingers crossed for you. As the others say, symptom spotting can drive you a bit mad, but it’s so hard not to. Keep me posted with how you get on. I can empathise! 🙂

Awww bless you!!
Thank you for sharing and the advice too! It's so hard not to symptoms spot isn't it 😆 ! Its so hard because the symptoms are the same for pregnancy and AF!
I hope that you get your positive soon!! ♡ xxx

Hello @Mytime2022 !
Aw goodness me!! Mine have been quite irregular since having the implant removed too, but I noticed that logging my period every month since November on the 'Flo' app did predict my period most months to the exact day! The only thing was my ovulation day was slightly out as I was using the testing strips too (but only by two days).
I completely understand how you're feeling! Especially when you do an early detection test and its negative you think to yourself 'I'll wait a few more days' 😆
Hopefully yours won't show up either and you'll get the positive that you're looking for!
I sometimes think the more we stress in the two week wait the more likely we will have a negative, although its easy to say!
You keep me updated too! ♡ Good luck!! x

Similarly to you, I'm also due 29th and in my 2WW. Isn't it killer 😒 I have tender boobs and I had cramping about 5 days after ovulation. But now that I'm actively trying, I wonder if we just look for symptoms, and experience those we've had before but never realised we did?! Sending you lots of baby dust and luck!! Xx

Hi @rayn911 and @HannahBanana11 AF showed up a day early for me so back to cd1 😩 fingers crossed for both of you that you have more luck this month. Keep me posted!

Hello @HannahBanana11 @Mytime2022
Well I did a pregnancy test 4 days early on Tuesday because I was just too impatient, and well... I got a faint positive!! 😃!!!! Obviously its very early I've tested everyday because I couldn't believe it and they are getting darker and darker! Hope you guys get the positives that you're both looking for as soon as possible!! ♡ ♡
