Hi Girls,

Im new here and just need some girly advice and a chat really. Only person I’ve spoken to about this is my OH.

The boring stuff, I have a 35 day cycle, 5 day period window and believe I ovulated on 29th April (according to my app).

Im currently a week late and I’ve tested with an Asda pregnancy test and BFN. Im getting all the pregnancy symptoms but im just stuck in limbo. Im not functioning like normal, it’s aggravating! 😂😂😂 I think I just need somebody to tell me to be quiet and man up.

Hope you’re all well and sending you lots of baby dust !

@Steph149 Im ok with the whole AF thing because we wasn’t trying but it would of still been lovely. Think my partner is a little disappointed , I messaged him at work. So I’ll have a chat when he gets home. Xx

Exactly, one I’ve been on a few days I can start feeling a bit normal. Lol. If we have a chat and decide to “try” this month I’ll keep you updated.

Yeah every 3 days is a good time frame, I’d wait until your next AF and if it doesn’t turn up ask your GP for a blood test to rule pregnancy out and then you can focus on your AF returning so you can start trying again, that being said… you maybe pregnant! So I’ll have my fingers crossed for you lovely. Glad your symptoms have eased. Xxxxx

@Kel870 hopefully it will have helped you both decide what to do, like I said earlier, I needed that kick up the bum from my Dr to decide to go for it (although we’re both still equally terrified about the idea at times 😂😂😂)

I called up this morning and made an appointment, the first non urgent one they had was just over 4 weeks away, so either AF arrives and I can cancel it assuming everything else settles down, or by then I’ll have missed 2 and she’ll hopefully be able to run some tests and get me some answers!xxx

@Steph149

You’re 100% right! Ill keep you updated with our chat. Oh and you’ll be fine, everything just comes naturally but I get it. When having my first I was thinking oh wow, this little cute bubba is relying on me for everything. 11 years later he still is and he’s doing ok. So if I did , you 1000% can! You’ll be amazing !

Ahh that’s so good you got an appt (even though the time wait for docs is actually ridiculous these days) so you have a plan. Let’s hope it’s BFP. I’ll be thinking of you, keep me updated on this chat as I will you xxx

I think AF is finally about to arrive, only 3 weeks late!😂

At least that means I can hopefully put this horrible, weird cycle behind me and get on with the next! still feel absolutely horrible though, I’m still so tired I can barely do anything and have back pain and cramping that I never usually get with AF, so I’m hoping that disappears soon Xxx

Kel870 · 25/05/2022 21:31

@Steph149 Ah why do you think that girly? Just a feeling? Mines been a weird one, I’m not heavy at all but still a period. Our bodies are strange aren’t they?!!

So strange because I’m the same, literally exhausted and emotional. Lol. My back has calmed and I’ve had odd cramps but still don’t feel right. Hoping by the end of my period I’m feeling more me again.

Well here’s to your June BFP if the wicked AF is on her way! Hope you’re well ❤️

@Kel870 started spotting late afternoon yesterday, but it was different to how I usually start, but AF in full swing now. I‘m just relieved that it’s finally appeared and I can put it behind me!

I know how you feel, I’m still not feeling right at all, but hoping it will ease up!

Hopefully June will be more successful and less strange for both of us!😂xxx
