Has anybody had a scan of your pelvic area before trying to conceive to just make sure everything is looking ok? I'm not sure if this is even a thing but its definitely something id be interested in doing. Has anybody had anything similar?

You can have a fertility MOT which would involve bloods/scan.

You can do a well woman check which looks at how well everything is functioning and even looks at egg health. I’d really recommend every woman in her 30s do one if she’s not planning to have children just yet, to see how it all looks

I had a internal scan as part of a fertility MOT. She counted my follicles and had a look at my c section scan to check it had healed.

No. The best test of whether you can get pregnant is trying to get pregnant. If nothing is happening after 6/12 months (depending on age) then you look into tests.

Some women haven’t met their life partner in their 30s and if they wait until they’re trying for a baby it could be too late. Much better to do it in advance to understand whether you have any issues and therefore need to look in to something like freezing eggs

The OP doesn’t suggest she’s in that situation. She sounds like someone about to start TTC.

But in any case, fertility MOTs are not that reliable and nor is egg freezing. But an industry manages to make huge amounts of money from worried women.
