Pg whilst BF. (Line eyes)

Hey MNers

I think I've had a positive PG test but it's so so faint. I'm also BF my 11mo and my periods have not returned yet. So if I am pregnant I have ZERO idea how far along (although would assume by the test not far....) any opinions on the test? Experience with falling PG whilst BF?

I got pregnant after one period while BFing but it was a really long cycle so I could only narrow it down with a CB digital test to 5-11 weeks so I told this to the booking midwife and they sent me for a scan to check dates. I think they said I was 6/7 weeks and then the dates changed again a bit by the 12 week scan.

Yep, that looks positive, if early! Congratulations! I was still feeding at nights when I fell pregnant with DD2, but was actively tracking and trying and my periods had returned.

I'm slightly freaking out I won't lie! I will take a CB digi in a few days if the line progresses. Then schedule a full on meltdown 🤣 xx

Think it's an evap I had one blue dye and one pink dye test that looked like that. It was negative . Try again later or use a digital

I did think that. But it came up so quickly. And I checked for indents before I tested. It doesn't show well (my camera is cracked!) but it is pink in real life. X

There's definitely a line I just don't know how likely it is to be positive as BF. I don't have to hold to the light or squint irl. I'll test again in a couple days. I always buy 2 😂 xx

Yes I fell pregnant while breastfeeding my 8 month old. I had had one period though.

By the time I was about 3 months pregnant he absolutely refused to breastfeed. Apparently the taste changes with the hormones?

Thank you! It's a huge shock. And honestly I feel so emotional. But it wouldn't be unhappy news. I haven't even gone back to work yet....🫠

I took another test this morning. The line came up instantly and is ever so slightly darker than yesterday. So...yeah! Thank you for your replies. X

Can’t see a line, think it’s the image resolution, but I conceived my second child at 14 months pp whilst still BF on my first cycle. It’s definitely possible.

I see it but it's extremely faint on both so I would see if it progresses. I got pregnant when still breastfeeding my 8 month old day and night so it's completely possible, in fact I think it's quite common around this sort of time

I had tests like this with frer and was not pregnant!

I have fallen pregnant twice will breastfeeding. Both times at 12 months.

All was fine. I continued feeding until about 5 months pregnant.

As to your tests, I can’t really see the pics closely enough to see, but if you are, congratulations!

I see a faint line. Two close together is hard work but can work out well as they will be close in age and will play together. Good luck!!

What do you mean screen resolution? Do you mean of our devices?

That wouldn't affect seeing a clear line.

Anyway you apparently have your confirmation via the digital test now so congrats.
