4dpo and going mad

Anyone around 4dpo and want to wait out the TWW with me?

Usually I think the first week goes quickly but it is seriously dragging this cycle. Plus I didn’t use OPKs this month so I might only be three dpo!

WFH doesn’t help, I just end up spending far too much time over thinking it, working out when I can test, and looking at line eyes threads on MN.

@Sawa75 i never had any before a positive test with my DS. I think 6dpo is the earliest you can implant and it takes a couple of days for HCG to rise so I’m guessing 8dpo? But I think the general rule of thumb is if you’re HCG is high enough for symptoms then it’s high enough to get a positive.

@Sawa75 period pains were my first symptom with DD, and they hit around 5DPO (and I got a positive with her at 10DPO). I can't remember what, if any, cm I had. I've also not had a period since before DD as still breastfeeding, so I'm in the same boat as you.

Just tested again at 9DPO and another negative, so starting to assume I'm out this month

I keep getting shooting pains in my boobs today… hoping that’s a sign and not something more sinister!

@Charl881 I have been getting shooting pains in my boobs today too! I’m 6 DPO, how far are you? I have also been feeling exhausted today, with cramps, headaches, lower back pain and a bit of white mucus (sorry tmi!). I know these are all similar to PMS symptoms but hopefully they aren’t 😬

i am 4dpo today (going by the Flo app - although who knows how accurate that is)
reading into every symptom. I bought 2 tests today to do next week. Last month I tested so much and the BFNs are tough. So telling myself to test less this month..
Hoping this next week goes by fast

@Newbie2022 I’m anywhere between 6 - 8dpo, I didn’t track it this month so just going off signs of ovulation/ previous cycles. It’s so annoying how PMS symptoms are so similar!

@Squishybean welcome! I’ve got a FRER ready for Sunday when I’ll be 8-10dpo and I won’t order more until after that. I have some cheapies that I will use for Tuesday (previously because they worked for me 1 day before AF was due even though that turned into a chemical)

I had a positive (I think) opk yest morn so the mystery continues for me! Good luck everyone!

I’m driving myself mad. Had a faint line on a clear and simple test this morning but FRER and other internet cheapies are stark white! Line definitely has colour in person but I feel like it shouldn’t be trusted if no other tests are showing even a hint of a line.

@Charl881 oh glad I’m not the only one! I did a test as well this morning later on and I have the faintest line 🙈I then did another one after dinner and absolutely nothing so who knows! Going to try and hold off now don’t want to get my hopes up!

@Newbie2022 so frustrating isn’t it. I mean this was exactly why people say to wait until you’re late for AF before testing but I’ll never learn.

when do you think you’ll test again?

CD 4-6 - excitement / planning for fertile window
CD 7 - ovulation day - time disappears
week one of TWW - wish away time
week two of TWW - time has never gone so slow

@Charl881 I know. This is our first cycle TTC so I know it may not happen straight away but it’s nice to have a bit of hope 😂period is due Friday so I want to say I’ll hold off until Saturday haha ! I haven’t got any tests in the house so will have to go out and get some - I can only try!

8DPO today, did a test, BFN obvs!

I’m ravenous, boobs starting to hurt, lower backache.. all AF signs for me which is due Friday

@allthingssparkly nearing the end of the TWW thank god! AF due Wednesday - Friday (last two cycles have been off after a chemical). Had what I thought was a positive today on one brand but BFN on all other tests including FRERs. So time will very soon tell.

@Newbie2022 ill be testing with another cheapie in the morning and then have more first response tests arriving tomorrow 🙈 If they are negative then I will assume today’s was a dud test so at least the mental anguish will be over by this time tomorrow. You’re much more sensible waiting until Saturday!

@Charl881 ok I lied 😂the test I did yesterday was still showing positive this morning so I have been out and bought some strips / cheap tests this morning. The line looks thicker today but I’m not doing any more now I will wait haha.

@Newbie2022 amazing! That’s definitely a line. If you test Thursday morning should be a lot stronger.

the line on my test yesterday had disappeared when I checked it this morning. So assuming it was a dodgy evap line or something since all other tests negative. Got more arriving today so I should hopefully know either way today then AF due tomorrow anyway.

5 DPO today, and anyone else had any early symptoms? Just experiencing sore to the touch boobs and light cramping?? I’ve been good this cycle and I haven’t tried testing yet, I’m nervous

I spoke too soon. Bleeding stopped and got a BFP this morning. Just hoping it’s not another chemical!
