Hey all,
My husband and I froze 6 embryos (4 d4 2 d5) 5 years ago and are about to have our first round of FET. I have no ovaries due to removal a few years ago (I have the brca1 gene) so obviously my uterus has had to come out of retirement 😂
Due to the lack of ovaries my uterus lining is thin (but not too shrunken luckily) so I’ve started on oestrogen patches earlier then planned to see how it fills out. A dumby run I guess?
I can’t help but feel anxious my uterus isn’t going to cooperate. I have felt slightly fuller in that area the last couple days so hoping this is a good sign. I have a scan in 10 days to check on thickness.
Im just looking for anyone who has been in a similar situation/going through similar as everything online is for people with ovaries.
