Started to feel a bit sore at the weekend...assumed it was erm, friction....

Hubby complained the next day that he was itchy and I did shortly after so I'm assuming that I had thrush and unknowingly passed it on.

This isn't something I normally suffer from. How long do we have to abstain? Is it just til symptoms clear up? Or do we need to wait longer?

If you are sure it is thrush I would treat it now and then wait two weeks just to be safe! Your partner should use the Canesten cream everyday for about two weeks and also take a fluconazole tablet which you can get without a prescription!

Thank you. I can't think what else it could be.
We have cream that we are both using but never heard of that tablet so I will look it up.

I'm due my period in a few days anyway and that puts a stop to it anyway haha so at least the two week wait will include that part of my cycle as three weeks is a long time to abstain 🤣
