Does anyone fancy a cycle #1 thread? Trying for number 2, I’m 30, CD20, 8dpo, one probable evap on a Lloyds test followed by negative FRER. But - not out yet!

Hi @Organictangerine! Not exactly in the same situation as you but similar... I'm 30, trying to number 2! Really thought this cycle was the one but unfortunately AF showed today. So will be preparing to start again next cycle!

Me! Am 37 and TTC number two. I had an ectopic pregnancy last night so TTC again feels like I’m going backwards 😐but here I am! I’m CD 16 and my OPKs make no sense to me so I don’t know if I’ve ovulated yet or not.

Good luck for your journey! When do you plan to test? Are you an early tester or a patient one 😆

Ive tested already 😶got a faint positive on a Lloyds test which are horrendous for evaps apparently, and a BFN on FRER. More FRERs arriving tomorrow so I will shamelessly cross my legs and test again with FMU if they arrive early-ish.

however after this cycle I am DEFINITELY only testing if my period is late and I plan to be serene until then (yeah right!).

Me! This is cycle 1 (ish) TTC #2. My first was born November 2020 so she's 17 months.

We were going to start next cycle as we were with family over my fertile week this cycle but we did manage to DTD whilst we were there so I'm counting this as an unofficial cycle 1!

I'm using Natural Cycles (used it to conceive my first) and it says I am 9DPO but I think I'm actually 11DPO going off other signs. Didn't use any ovulation tests this month as I didn't have any with me so who knows! Trying to hold out a couple more days to test...

Hi @mumone88 good to have another member! I’m using OPKs as I’m a bit rubbish at ‘knowing my body’ if that makes sense. We too only managed to DTD once in the crucial few days and I suspect it was actually a bit late, so not holding out much hope. But there is still a chance! Due on my period on the 18th.

I keep telling myself that if BFN this month then at least the baby wouldn’t have a January birthday!

Ah yes sorry, you did say you had tested already! Let us know how you will get on with the FRERs! Planning to be serene, ha ha, that’s what I told myself I’d be like this month and it absolutely is not how I am 😂

Heres my OPKs, I posted this on another thread too but have done another test since last posting it (and yes, that’s 4 tests I did yesterday because I have absolutely no idea what’s going on!)

Wednesday I commented on your OPK thread!! I thought your username looked familiar! Any joy with a clear peak today?

BFN for me on Superdrug test with FMU. I think I’m out but I feel like now I’ve cracked I may as well obsessively test away until AF arrives!

Ah well why not! How long til your period is due? I’ll be obsessively peeing on OPKs today! Will update later (how thrilling for you 😂)

Another week still but ovulation is usually day 11 or 12 for me with a 27 day cycle. Good luck with the OPKs I look forward to seeing them 😊

I’ve done two more tests today and remain totally confused about what’s going on. Reached a peak and then they’ve just been all over the place. I’m really tempted to just stop testing because this isn’t helping me, I’m just googling and worrying and getting different info about what it means. Tempted to get rid of the OPKs and then just aim to DTD as often as we can between periods and hope for the best!

Can you switch brands Wednesday? I use the green one step ones, the ones you’re using might just not be the right fit for you?

Thanks! I'm out, period came today (weirdly short 28 day cycle!). Have only had 30+ day cycles in the 8 months since my period came back postpartum so wasn't expecting it! Still at least that means we can start cycle 2 earlier...
