Evap or indent??

Need help ladies!!! Is this a positive pregnancy test or does it look like an indent or evap? I had a stillbirth 2 months ago and have had my first pp period but could it be left over HCG?
any help appreciated!!

i would say it’s positive but frer have been funny lately. i’d try again with a different test

It looks positive to me. I’m so sorry for your loss.

It's not clear either way. Leave it 2 days for HCG to double (if pregnant!) and test again, fmu with a frer

Im so sorry, i also had a stillbirth (in nov) and ttc afterwards is so hard.

I will warn you, i did get noticavle evap lines with a frer test which was heartbreaking.

Its taken me 5 months to concieve and found my early results more reliable with a cheap one step tests, i got a bfp 6 days early with them.

I’m so sorry for your loss, do my tests look how yours did when you got an evap line?

Yours i think has a bit more colour than mine, hopefully its an early positive for you. I would just be cautious at first, and buy a few different brands.

My emotions have been all over the place after getting a positive, thinking back to my baby i lost. Prepare yourself for a wave of emotions xx

I’m just very anxious at the moment, those tests are two days old so I’m now 9dpo and going to take a FRER I’ll keep you updated! x

How are you getting on?

So my line got darker yesterday but I took another test today and it’s sooo much lighter. I’m thinking it’s a possible chemical pregnancy but I don’t know if I’m just testing too early. Help!!! x

It might just be the concentration of your wee. I know its hard, i was testing everyday, but try and leave it 2 days. You should see a difference by then. How many dpo are you now?

I’m 10DPO so is it possible to have a chemical already? x

I’ll be 11dpo tomorrow but I haven’t got hope since that urine was the first of the day and the test still got lighter x

I had a loss in February. I had a clear, but not dark, positive 12 dpo, then 14 dpo it was lighter and lighter again at 15 dpo. I stopped testing at that point and miscarried a week later. It is possible your Hcg is decreasing already. I wish you all the best.

It does look a smidge darker to me. Have you spoken to your Dr to get your levels checked?

Update: I started bleeding today which confirms my suspicion that I have had a chemical pregnancy. Oh well onto the next cycle! X

So we are onto another cycle. I’ve taken two first responses two days apart and the line has got darker. I decided to take a clear blue digital but it came back negative! I’m so confused so any advice would help. Thanks ladies and sending you all baby dust! 🤍x

When did you ovulate OP? I know it’s hard waiting it out but you may be best waiting until 12dpo to avoid any chemicals (these can actually be quite common but only recently known of with the early tests).

A FRER has a sensitivity of 6.25 and the digital 25miu. Even with a strong line on the FRER you’ll not get a positive on the digital for a little while.

If you’re a POAS addict I’d recommend the cheap 10miu tests which are 25 for £5. Then when you get a hint of a line you can get out the FRER. This is what I did and it saved me a fortune!

I’m not entirely sure when I ovulated but I think it might have been earlier than my apps are telling me. Does my test look like an indent line at all to you? Where did you buy your cheapies from?

Get mine on eBay or Amazon (used to). If you’re wanting to get pregnant quickish I’d definitely recommend the clearblue advanced ovulation tests. Worked wonders for us and I ovulated a few days later and would’ve missed it.

Doesn’t look like an indent to me. Fingers crossed!
