Negative test 2 days late

I'm TTC and my period is now 2 days late. It's always been very regular even when stressed or other factors going on. However, I'm getting a negative test result. I'm guessing this means it is late for another reason but wanted others' opinions? Thanks!

If it’s showing negative, it’s likely to be another reason. As you get older, occasional deviations in your cycle do happen.
