Positive clear blue and negative first response?

I had felt a little strange and so I took a pregnancy test yesterday. Positive - was thrilled. Then today with a different brand (first response) and negative.

I am feeling very confused and upset … anyone know what might be happening?

Really? I so want to believe that but I can’t see anything.

my periods have been unpredictable lately but I haven’t actually missed one yet - on a 28 day cycle I’d be due on Wednesday. But they mostly come early.

I can but it might be an evap and I may have line eyes!

Try and rest and look after yourself for the next few days and test again, treat yourself this weekend to try and take your mind off it! Xx

Thank you, although it’s ALL I can think of. I’m semi expecting my period Sunday as my cycles have been roughly 25 days but they have been a bit funny lately.

@Bluebellsinthemistywood I can see the clearblue line but can't see anything on the First Response...

Could be a number of things:
-Chemical pregnancy
-Dodgy test(s)
-Too early to test and HCG level too low although then I would expect a line on the FR and nothing on the CB

You can't really do much apart from test again in a few days if your period doesn't start.

I am inclined to think dodgy test, which is frustrating as it feels like a cruel joke!

Pics aren’t clear enough for me to squint at the FRER. When did the blue line appear? They’re notorious for giving lines after the time on the instructions.

It did appear pretty much straightaway but I would have expected something on the FR, even if not much. Especially since the FR was the day after the CB.
