I have been thinking about trying this supplement as I have read that it may lengthen the luteal phase. Just wondering if anyone on here is taking it, and at what dosage? Any success stories are also very welcome!

Been thinking about the same too

Graceybaby · 01/05/2022 17:34

I had a short Luteal phase of 10 days but I regular 26/27 day cycle and took this when TTC my son as I had heard the same.. however all it did was my my cycle up and delay my ovulation even more and shorten my Luteal phase so I have no idea what happened but I stopped taking it and it went straight back to normal.. FYI I'm pregnant now so have conceived twice with a short Luteal phase, I took B6 and high dose of vitamin C xxxxx

Thanks for sharing your experience @Graceybaby it's helpful to hear how it can affect different people. I have been on the fence about it but may just stick to vitamin b6 and C for now.

It's great that you have been able to conceive twice with a 10 day LP; I need to hear stories like this as I am probably getting overly worried about it! Congratulations on your pregnancy 😊

I took it for the same reason.1 month later it lengthen, second month I was pregnant. I had no side effects etc, only positives for me

Nyxxie · 01/05/2022 18:38

@Silverbirch2 that's great, did you take anything else or just the agnus castus? Do you know what dose it was?

Sorry I'm not of dose. I'll try to check my amazon order to find out! No nothing else, although I did you conceive plus the first month I fell pregnant for the first time too. Good luck!

100% recommend this. I had a short luteal phase of under 10 days, been taking this since the beginning of the year and got a BFP last week. I'm sure this contributed as my LP was too short to conceive before xx

Nyxxie · 03/05/2022 20:51

@Janey3090 congratulations on your BFP! How long did it take for your LP to start increasing once you starting taking it?

Recommend from me! My progesterone was a bit low so researched and found it, had miscarriages, then suddenly no luck ttc for well over a year. I took the A Vogel liquid, fell pregnant and had my DD. It helped with ttc again albeit they ended in miscarriage, but second child born since miscarriages
I'd definitely try it for yourselves

Janey3090 · 04/05/2022 09:15

@Nyxxie thank you! Honestly not that long at all, within a few months I had gone from a 7 or 8 day luteal phase to 12 days (with spotting from day 10). I also took high strength omega 3 as I'd heard it helps improve your progesterone, so would recommend that too

Still very early days for me, but I didn't think I'd be able to get pregnant at all so it's clearly done something! 😊xx

I started taking it this cycle, hope i see some change. The GP has also referred me for swabs, scan and blood tests.
