I MC on the 6th april and was still getting positive tests at 3 weeks on…. so was sent to hospital yesterday. They did a 25mlU sensitive test and it was stark negative.
They then did bloods and hCG levels showed 8.2. The lady said as ive had unprotected sex twice since my MC, it could be a new pregnancy, and the tests I’m using at home are positive because they detect from 6.5mlU of HCG. They’ve told me to test again in a week…. I’m getting cramping in my lower back, mood swings, tender breast and going to the bathroom more frequently but really trying not to get my hopes up. I’ve also had little bits of orange spotting In my discharge.
If the hormone is still in my system can I even have a period yet??
Has anyone had this before or going through it now?
