Is this a positive???

Hi everyone, is this a VERY faint positive?? I took a test today after work as I've had the usual early signs that can easily be mistaken for pms I.e cramps,backache, sore boobs etc but today my gums have been aching all day and driving me mad so I just thought I'd give it a go and test super early (I think I'm 10dpo today). A minute or 2 after doing the test I couldn't see a line (I know your supposed to wait 5 mins but I've tested nearly every month for past 10 months and with it always being negative I just throw them away after a couple of mins rather than wait the 5 mins in hope it would change) anyway about 2 hours after I did the test I went to go to the bin and noticed a very very faint line...could this finally be my bfp?? Spent 10 months ttc for our first baby so I'm now nervously waiting to see I'm going to retest in the next few mornings and see if I get the dreaded AF on Sunday but I'm praying not! P.s in person line is still faint but looks little darker than the photo but only slightly

That is exactly what I did with a cheapie test when pregnant with dc 1, wasn't actually expecting it to be positive and it looked negative after the first couple of minutes so I left it in the toilet thinking nothing more. After a couple hours I noticed it had changed to a faint line. Dc 1 is now 16 so it was definitely positive. Fingers crossed for you op.

This is just a cheapie too, I bought a bulk pack of OPK and it had about 20 pregnancy tests too so I just test using one of them every month before AF almost so I can prepare myself for the disappointment of AF (I know it sounds silly). Praying this line gets darker and its a sticky baby, had two meltdowns this past week feeling like I was losing hope and thinking this is the 10th failed cycle, literally started to look into fertility tests tonight after taking the test thinking it was negative.

That looks like a definate BFP to me!! I think you have thrown the test away too early, it might have been positive within those 5 mins! I have done cheapies before and never got a line like this! Good luck!

I had a much fainter line in the same circumstances- she is 21 this year. Fingers crossed.

Thank you all for the kind words and for replying so quickly. I took another test this morning and there was a definite second line within a couple of minutes which I'm over the moon with, now hoping it's a sticky baby!
