Can ovulation type pains last over a week?

I'm really hoping someone has had something similar to what i'm going through. I normally get quite sharp ovulation pains and the same happened this month, but for the last last week. I'm on CD23. I've had tenderness and af type pains where my ovaries are, and i've had lots of cm not egcm but thicker (sorry tmi).
We've been ttc bub2 for 12 months now and i really hope that my mind isn't playing tricks on me.
I feel like i'm going mad! I know its too soon to test, but i feel totally stressed out and frustrated

I had pre-af type pain for several days before my last bfp - I usually only hurt when ~I'm about to come on, or already on so it was unusual. I think it was implantation.

Hope it is for you as well xx

Hi rmm - this is happening to me at the moment so I was searching posts to find similar and came across yours.

I had ewcm on CD14/15 when I am pretty sure I ovulated. Then it went away, but on CD 18/19/20 I had lots more cm - though thicker than ew (again - sorry for tmi!). I was thinking perhaps I'd got myself all mixed up and I actually ovulated later than I thought? I've also had the pains you describe.

We're also ttc#2 - this is cycle 9 for us.

Hello, just spotted your post rmm. I think I had this both times I conceived, but I also had this when I wasn't trying for a baby and it turned out I had an ovarian infection (got checked out by doc). Was given antibiotics and it cleared it up pretty quick.
This was back when I was about 20(I'm nearly 33 now). This infection had absolutely no affect on my fertility. If your period starts, and you are still getting the pains I would get checked out by your gp to be on the safe side.
