For context I have been TTC for 3 years. Currently 32yo. It's been so long now without a single BFP that I'm normally past the symptom spotting anymore, I don't temp and I don't even test for ovulation. It was all just A LOT mentally so we took a break from it all. Still DTD but don't obsess like I once did. We've started fertility investigations and so far the only thing that seems to be evident is possibly low progesterone but I'm due to have the dye in my tubes next as part of investigations.

Anyway I digress..... This month some real weird sh!t has been occurring with my boobs. It's something I have NEVER experienced before. Particularly my left breast. It is an intense burning sensation mainly if I'm braless. It's been this way consistently for over 2 weeks now. Standing up or turning on my left side in bed.. basically anything involving gravity and it feels like someone's literally putting a blowtorch to my tit to the point I have to lift it up and cradle it until the pain subsides. I'm CD 24 today and my boobs are so tender and I can see thick blue veins. I even did a test out of pure curiosity because I was so baffled but of course BFN. My question is has anyone ever experienced this burning pain before and can give any guidance on what it might be?....I'd imagine you'd know if you had because I've literally not felt anything like it ever. Sore boobs, yes of course, but this burning pain is something of a torture 😂 Wondering if I need to Ask my GP or am I going to look ridiculous? 🙈😅 TIA

Wait for a few days then test again. I did my test with ds a week after I missed my period and it still wasn't particularly dark (red dye but not frer) the digital said 2-3 weeks in same urine. My point being if I had used that test at 24cd it would almost certainly have been negetive and ds is 2 now so def not a false positive! It may be that your test didn't pick it up yet 🤞🤞🤞

Thanks ladies. I don't know why I tested in all honestly. I was just trying to do something to explain the pain. The pain has been there since before my 'fertile' week would have started so I'm not expecting it to lead to a BFP. Maybe my hormones are just off the scale this month. Or I just have no idea when my fertile week is because I'm not checking if I'm ovulating and my cycles range from 28-34 days 🤷🏽‍♀️ either way I've not experienced this burning pain before and it's not it 😂

CD26. First I convinced myself I could see something, then I went back and forth a thousand times in my mind that I could or couldn't. Then I took a pic and inverted it, then I decided I was actually going mad and scrunched it up and chucked it away 😅

The burning pain has not subsided. It's now paired with the usual pre menstrual boob aching so no closer to figuring it out. I'm gonna wait til the weekend and maybe do a frer which I've not done for a very long time I don't even test at all usually because I've been very matter of fact with it not happening for us without medical intervention 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is why I don't test though.. so easy to go crazy 🤪

I can see a line too! This is how mine started and got a BFP on Sunday. I had burning nipples with my DS.

I had looked at it for long so that I gave up and decided it was an indent. I don't know if an indent should be visible when inverted though. I'm just gonna leave it until the weekend and perhaps consider a FRER which would be a novelty for me. Id not bothered testing in so long (loosing hope) that I've not had to consider buying one!
