Ovulation pain at 2DPO? 🤔

I track my ovulation, and my post ovulation symptoms. I know when I ovulated and I also know that typically, days 1-4dpo are completely symptom free.

this month, I have had left side ovulation pain, and my lower back aches on the left hand side. (I ovulated from the LHS this month).

it’s strange because in the past year I have never had this ‘symptom.’

just wondering if anyone else has ever had this?

for context, this is my first cycle after a HSG, if that explains anything..?

I’m currently 5dpo and had some pretty strong cramps at 2dpo and at 4dpo I had what I can only describe as shooting pains low down (the ones that make you shoot your straight haha!)

Not sure if it means anything but it’s nice to hold onto hope!

I've had a few cycles where I have had cramps and shooting pains 2dpo. I do opks and also track my BBT so I know when I ovulated. Nothing came of it though. I believe you can get ovulation pains a few days after as the fluid from the egg bursting out can sit in your abdomen for a bit and irritate the lining.
