Need help with cervical mucus and period 🙈

I'm so sorry but I can't work out where to post and I really need an opinion and don't know who else to ask.

I was spotting pale pink in my cm at the beginning of the week, got my hopes up for implantation bleeding but a bowel movement caused a bright red bleed the next day so I knew it was game over.
I spotted brown the rest of the week and then it arrived yesterday fairly heavy. This morning I got up and passed a large clot and lots of red blood.....the next toilet visit was loads and loads of egg white with red blood streaks in it...
Where has my period gone and why so much egg white during a period? I don't normally get that until ovulation?

Does anyone else get egg white in their period??

Googled like crazy and can't find anything to help.

Could it be menopause? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't have any answers for you but wanted to share that I had something very similar on my period 2 cycles ago. It seemed like a normal period the first couple of days but towards the end there was so much egg white mucus when I removed my menstrual cup. I've never seen it like that before and also tried googling it but found nothing. It was my first period after spending a month in a different time zone and a long haul flight so I just put it down to my cycle being a bit off. My period after that one also arrived very early so I wondered if I'd actually ovulated towards the end of my period, if that's even possible??? Our bodies can be strange sometimes.🙄

There was so much of it and yes it seemed like ovulation CM but no ovulation pain 🤷🏻‍♀️
And my period arrived back last night with a vengeance.

I haven't been on a flight or anything like that though.
I guess I'll never know - put it down to my body just f*ing with me a little bit more than usual 😔

Period abruptly stopped on the 25th.

EWCM last night.

I've just been to the toilet and when I wiped here was more EWCM with a streak of bright red blood. My stomach feels heavy, tender and bloated.

What is going on? Could it be perimenopause? Or should I be worried something more sinister is going on?
