@LucyLoopyLu oh that's exciting you've got your peak! Have you DTD in the days leading up ? Even just say to him we need to get at it more to up the chances then he won't get suspicious and may start initiating more. It's hard though I'm 27 and partner is mid 30s and He works late nights at times. Life just makes it hard to be spontaneous compared to years ago when we didn't live together and like yous couldn't keep our hands off each other

Pink tinged mucus has continued on and off. Waited for a call from EPU yesterday who told me that in fact the midwife I spoke to on Saturday didn't refer me at all!!!!

Morning all,
I'm day 22 of my cycle and it's my 8th day of flashing smiley using the clear blue ovulation tests!
My partner went away on day 16 and won't be back for another week... So I've given up hope of conceiving this month :(
Besides the disappointment of not conceiving, I'm also gutted I'm ovulating so late, although this is only my third natural cycle after stopping Microgynon after ten years.
Feeling DEFLATED!!

Hi there! Wondered if I could join? Me and my OH have been TTC for 2 cycles seriously but 4 since my coil was removed! On 12dpo and BFN this morning so expecting my AF in a few days now! I know I’ve only been seriously trying for 2 months but you do get disappointed don’t you! No-one I know is trying too so felt like joining a thread could help with other people going through the same process!

None of my friends are trying either - I feel like I bore everyone with my cycle updates! Don't you just hate when people say "relax, don't try too hard and it will happen". 🤪

I’m the same! I sadly haven’t told most my friends either as they all were like “you’re so young live your life” 🙈 at any idea of a baby in the immediate future and that put me off! Everyone’s circumstances in life are so different!

@LilyDaniels I think people mean well, but probably say these things because THEY feel uncomfortable- I once told a friend we were struggling TTC, and she told me that she had also struggled for years with DH1 but got pregnant very quickly with DH2.

I loved her for trying to relate, but I did feel like snarking "Cool, I'll just leave OH, then. Problem solved!" 🙄

As for me, I am in shock. The gynaecology department called, and my appointment is next Monday!

I'm worried they won't take me as seriously now that the bleeding has stopped, but hopefully I can get some answers other than "just lose weight".

I think the fact you know you would like proper answers will mean you will push for them!

@Dreamingof3 your comment about weight made me chuckle! I'm someone who is fit (run 20 plus miles a week, about 20 plus waking and 5 CrossFit sessions a week), but midwives had kittens with my weight being slightly over with DD. She was measuring small and all I got from everyone was "it's because you're over weight".
Same with us struggling to TTC.."you could lose a stone" 😳 like that's going to sort my depleted egg supply! 😂

I'm overweight (size 16 so I wouldn't say massively so) and I had gestational diabetes last pregnancy, probably half a stone heavier than last pregnancy too so I know if we conceive this time my weight will be mentioned right away 🙄

@Dreamingof3 A size 16 is definitely not massively overweight. I'm a 14/16 too but I'm very muscly (blame the CrossFit). The consultant reduced me to tears about my weight. I had hyperemesis and put on a couple of pounds during pregnancy. She had me in for baby measuring small and just ripped me to shreds for being slightly over weight. My community midwife was raging and complained on my behalf. I wouldn't care but the consultant was a big lady too!

I did get my peak OPK when I tested last night and we did DTD. I think my DH "understood the assignment". I wouldn't be surprised if he worked out exactly what I was thinking but not sure how much he thinks about TTC.
I hope that gives us a good chance. I did have some cramps yday that could have been ov pains, EWCM, peak OPK. Fingers crossed.

I just need to work on trying to chill now. Although I have plenty going on to keep me busy. I think I need to delete some social media apps because they are full of babies and it's not helping me relax 🙃

I'm CD11 and started getting some ewcm and backache so hopefully will get my peak in the next couple of days. Absolutely shattered today but want to try to DTD tonight / every other day until ovulation if we can

Looks like a few of us will be in the tww at the same time 😁 we can all obsess together haha. I've got both my girls birthdays coming up and starting to look at wedding plans so hopefully I'll be busy enough that it doesn't drag too much....

Also I've got a lot of strip hcg tests that came with my opks so I will probably use those to satisfy the urge to poas before af is due...other than that I was going to order a couple of frer and does anyone recommend any 😅

Why is it when TTC suddenly there are pregnancy announcements every other day on social media. Please tell me it's not just me that this is happening to. I'm so happy for everyone but also then get sad
