@LucyLoopyLu I'm due Sunday too, the wait is awful I've been really irritable today everyone at work has just been annoying me.

I use the Flo App to track everything although I'm still not sure if it's right I'll just keep logging symptoms etc see what happens. x

Hi all, been off for a few days whilst we've been away! Just on the train home again now. Trying to catch up on everything!

@Dreamingof3 hope AF has arrived now so it can be out the way before holiday. Mine kindly arrived on day 2 of my holiday 🙄 fertile window in 5 days according to my app so I'm officially TTC!

@HeathenPlayingHouse hopefully you get an appointment soon, your situation sounds a nightmare!

Lots of chat about inductions - I was induced for both of mine (DD1 on due date for reduced movement and DD2 post-dates), luckily delivered both DDs with no additional intervention, just my waters being broken. Hoping for spontaneous labour next time but if I do need to be induced I wouldn't mind as my experience was absolutely fine. I know not the experience for everyone but wanted to give some positive induction stories!

Also updated list - Ladies on May list, let me know when you want moving from the 'waiting' to 'trying' list!! Also if I've missed any BFPs please let me know and I'll add you to the pregnant list!

My second pregnancy was conceived on a cycle DTD only once so it can happen @Cherrymarket. Good luck!

@WingingIt09 so annoying it was on holiday for you! Mines still not arrived 😭 I don't know what to do about it. I've had quite bad period pains yesterday and today but still nothing!

Hi all, is there room for one more?

We'll be TTC for our first in September, I'll be 31. We're nervous that it might take us a while to conceive - mostly due to suspected endo and semi-irregular cycles. We were discussing trying before September but we get married in November and should we be lucky enough to conceive straight away, we think it best not be too pregnant at the wedding.

I'm starting to track my cycles now, and did my first OPK test today. Am looking to start checking my BBT too. We're hoping to really be able to pinpoint ovulation as (sorry if TMI) I have vaginismus, making sex really painful for me - so we can't just DTD as often as possible unfortunately 😕

A big part of me just wants to get on with it and start trying now, especially because we're aware it might not be straightforward for us - would love to join this thread and follow your journeys and be able to chat all things TTC/ovulation/AF etc. as I wait and learn more about it all.

Hi all. AF arrived yesterday nearly a week late. Feel relieved as all symptoms gone. I think I'd had a ovulation bleed which was spotting in the middle of my cycle which apparently means a strong release of progesterone hence the intense symptoms. Anyhow, bring on May @WingingIt09 please move me to TTC x

If anyone is interested i had a natural water birth with my baby and I hypnobirthed (hate that phrase) it was an amazing experience, 12 hours from first contraction at home if anyone wants a positive story it does happen

I'm curious to know how long did it take for any of you with 2 plus children to conceive number 2? I'm already getting anxious at the prospect of trying for number 2 as it took 18 months with a few losses. I'm praying the "you're very fertile after pregnancy" still applies 6 months PP 😂
As you can tell I'm getting very angsty over waiting until July to TTC again.

@WingingIt09 early Monday morning, if I'm lucky and it starts overnight tonight then i might just be OK!

@LucyLoopyLu I literally just use this period tracker app in trying to conceive mode because I find the interface of all the TTC apps way too busy 😂

@LucyLoopyLu I use 2 apps to track, Flo and Femometer. Use Femometer for my opks as that's the brand I order from Amazon. I just like the interface of Flo as well.

@Heathenplayinghouse oh that's good progress, at least you will hopefully be seeing a specialist soon and getting some answers 🤞

@hevann haha my husband is probably as sick of me as possible 🤣 hope your work colleagues haven't noticed too much

@wingingit09 no I'm not testing, if I don't get my period at the weekend I will test on Monday but I only have one (very old, very cheap) test in the house.

@WingingIt09 can I join the TTC crew too? I've started just last week (feels ages ago!) and I'm now 7DPO and def relating to the pain of the TWW. We only DTD once and its only the first cycle we're trying though I'm very regular and I've been tracking my cycles for 18 months so not sure what to expect... Currently on holiday and planning on testing on Sunday or Monday once I'm home.

@LucyLoopyLu I've used Natural Cycles for 18 months as a contraceptive when I got off the pill and have found the switch to TTC mode really straightforward. Not cluttered at all and really user friendly.

@DesertSnow I don't know if it helps at all, but I got married at 13 weeks pregnant with my first and I could not have done it a moment sooner, I didn't feel great until 16 weeks really and kind of wish we'd got married a few weeks later but we were dictated by harvest. Just mentioning incase you fancy starting TTC earlier

@FourOclock that is helpful to know, thank you. We decided on September as if we caught straight away (which we doubt, but you never know of course!) I would be max 5 weeks at the wedding - that's if current cycle pattern holds, but it can be a bit unpredictable. I think I probably wouldn't fit into my dress if I was significantly pregnant, and we also have fears of what might happen if I had a mc before the wedding - not negative thinking, more practical really as we know the stats. My friend had a mc 3 weeks before her wedding and it was awful. As I've never been pregnant before, of course I don't know how my body might react, and I can only image early pregnancy sickness etc. would be rubbish to navigate on a wedding day. Definitely food for thought, thank you!

I've been having lots of symptoms the same as when I was pregnant with ds. Got some faint lines on frer and a couple of shadows on OS the last few days. Yesterday afternoon got a pink line on OS so was expecting more of a line on Frer this morning but still faint (if stronger I think) and same line on OS. Excuse the mingy window, not long moved and everything is yellow 🙈😬

Had an invalid test at 12DPO, and this morning a positive on a FRER!

I’m in shock. DH went out to work before I did the test but I bought a baby outfit literally yesterday so am going to leave that out for when he gets home.
