We got rid of almost everything 🙈 lack of space and not knowing if we'd actually try for a third. I'm happy to buy second hand for a lot of things. I'd love a new pram though 😅

I was going to test at 9DPO today despite knowing I should wait… and I realised as I poured the sample away that I’d dipped an OPK not a pregnancy test 🤦‍♀️

Guess I will be holding on for another day!

I had my last one March 2020 and all our plans for swimming and baby/toddler groups went out the window too! 😩

@lj2022it does feel like that. I especially felt like that after 6 cycles of trying with my first. The 7th was our lucky one though so keep going. It will happen x

@Dreamingof3 second hand is so good as most are in such good condition. I have most things from ds although he's chewed everything so a little sibling will be like wtf happened 🤣 a new pram would be lovely!

I have 3 pushchairs 🤣.

I'm not getting a new pram as I love the one I already have. It's only a mothercare journey edit one but found it great. Also the carrycot got hardly any use with DS. By 3 months old he was trying to lift his head up and was annoyed he couldn't see anything so had to switch to the big seat 🤣.

Oooh can I ask what your planning about the announcement? No worries if you don’t want to jinx it I’m just nosy! I think I’m going to bring DH breakfast in bed and put the test on the tray 🤞🏻

just had a few more period type cramps, I’m hoping it’s all a good sign as I don’t get them until period arrives usually!

@PinkButtercups I liked that one when I was looking last time...only reason I changed my mind was because I told someone I know I was going to get it and then they got the same one 😅

@Amber17 I've done that with an opk before. However it was by accidentally using an opk I found out I was pregnant 😂 fingers crossed for a positive test.

@lj2022 sorry af is on the way. you may already be doing it but I've managed to extend my luteal phase by taking high dose vitamin C supplements (I think 1000mg) it took a couple of months but it's now reliably 2-3 days longer than previously

@LemonZestDribbles Thankyou it's hard isn't it, so easy to get disheartened especially when there's so many pregnancy announcements from people I know and trying to enjoy my in-laws pregnancy with them but nothing else to do than keep going

@Tropicana1 thanks I'm going to look into better vitamin C, I'm taking some along with a b-complex and agnus castus but no difference so far

CD21 today, BD'd last night and will BD again tomorrow night. Sore and very heavy boobs with some cramping sensations lower down, which is probably the uterus shifting slightly. Fair amount of EWCM yesterday, so I think my LH surge will either be tonight or tomorrow. So far, so good.

Hoping for sticky beans for everyone and I hope everyone is doing okay x

@Organictangerine the first time I put a belgian bun in the oven and told him to check the oven 😂 made us laugh at how silly it was so I’ll probably just do that again to tell my DH. The first ended in miscarriage unfortunately so for the second I just ran in with the faintest test and shoved it in his face for him to check so there was nothing special there! Haha

I didn’t do anything special to tell DH first time! I tested early so everything was uncertain because of it so I am determined to wait until I miss my period for number 2 if we are lucky to catch.

I’ve had ewcm today and think I’m due to ov tomorrow, we haven’t had sex yet this fertile window so it will be a one shot job here 😂 that’s how we conceived DD though so here’s hoping…

Oh and supplement wise, I don’t take vit C but I take my folic acid and vit D with a glass of orange juice at breakfast. Hopefully that will work!

Congrats @DanceWithYourBalloon fingers crossed for your little bean! So lovely to see scans already and so sorry to hear of chemical pregnancies they're not a nice experiences at all.

Not sure how I'd tell DP that I was pregnant it wouldn't be too exciting telling him tbh would be very excited to tell my ma and his parents though they'd be over the moon probably get a babygrow and film their reaction.

@cherrymarket good luck! Hopefully you get the same this time. I guess it only needs one good swimmer in the right place at the right time

I'm now 8 dpo according to my cycle tracker. Trying to keep my expectations low as I think my chances are very low but can't help that sneaky bit of hope worming its way into my brain.

Had a stupid argument with my OH this afternoon even though we've had a good weekend. Honestly can't even tell if it's my fault for being grumpy or his point for overreacting to my grumpiness. 🥲 I wish I could blame PMT but I'm not sure it qualifies at this stage!

Officially due af today if my cycle is the same as last month...it better arrive soon as we go away in a week and I don't want it to ruin my holiday 🙃

With dh last time I was convinced I was pregnant when I could smell the cat food really strong. I took a one step (awful tests) at night and was convinced I could see a line. I was bouncing around various lights trying to get him to see. Eventually he said he could (definitely lying so I'd go to bed). I very smugly handed him the frer with a bfp the next morning - 5 mins before he left for work. He still complains that I sent him off to work in a daze and I'm not allowed to do that this time 🤣

Is anyone due to test soon? I'm trying to avoid until Saturday earliest

BFN at 10dpo. Gutted. 1 line on a FRER was not the birthday gift I was after today.

Found a useful article on the fertilityfriend site that said only 10% of pregnancies get a positive at 10dpo though.

I don’t think I’ll be doing any elaborate way of telling my DP if I get a BFP - I’ll likely just be bringing him along for the journey ahaha
