testing 2 days before period is due

I did and it was negative. Was convinced I was pregnant.
4 days ago I had very painful period like pains, thought my period was coming but then nothing. Then thought maybe the pains were implantation pain....If I were pregnant would it show 2 days before period? Have also other symptoms too.....

the chances of it showing on a pg test go up and up as the days go on. Whether it shows up early depends on you and on the pg test (sensitivity). Hold on, and test again on the day you are due if your period hasn't come. I can't remember the figures of the top of my head, but I think only about 60% will show up on a pg test before you are due.

The test was a sensitive one, so I guess I am not pregnant. Anyone did the same and turned out to be pregnant?

testing early is often just a waste of money
with both my pgs I tested when my period was due but didn't get a positive until I was a week late

Give it a week. You have probably just tested too early

Even on the day your period is due some people get a negative so don't give up hope yet.

I got a +ve two days beofre with my first but it depends when in your cycle you conceived - if it was later it won't show for another week!
