Help me please/keep me sane/reassurance

Hi lovely ladies!
I need help/calmed/cheered up who knows..
Currently CD18, no hint of a peak on OPK's and my Ovusense temp is very low (also confirmed no ovulation yet)
I don't know what is going on with my body but I am so upset.
Normally get a peak between day 14/16 (got on 18 in Feb after catching covid)
I just don't know what to think/do.. the worlds more over active mind as it is!
Just looking for somebody who's had similar and ovulation did come!
Also meant to get my progesterone tests 7days before AF so I haven't been able to book that either
Sorry just having a 5 minute feel sorry for myself. X

Hi @RMS0209 sorry to hear you’re having a hard time!

I hope you’re feeling at bit better now, I will say that bodies vary so much from month to month and this is totally normal, it could also be that your OPKs have been affected by something else - diluted urine, time of day, could be anything really!

Try to take care of yourself, get plenty of rest and see how you go, you may just have ovulated earlier this month or will do later

Thank you so much for responding to me, really means alot.

I don't think I'm feeling any better, a bit worked up by it all.. I think because I just am used to having a PEAK or even a high reading by now I'm very confused

I have an OVUsense also, the core one so I have been using that and it confirms no ovulation yet, I really hope it does come soon.

Do you think I shouldn't panic just yet? x

I don’t think you should panic at all Even if you’ve missed it this month there is always next! I know it’s easier said than done, but being stressed won’t help your body do it’s thing xxx

My cycles have always been a bit random. When I was TTC DD2 my ovulation tended to be CD16 or 17, but when I conceived her I ovulated on CD25! So you’re not out yet…

I think I am just panicking as lunchtimes OPK was 0.23 and it's CD21.. but hopefully I peak soon.

@RMS0209 hello again! Sorry your feeling like this! It id normal for you to miss a month of ovulation from time to time, or to have offf cycles at some points. Try not to worry too much, I know easier said than done! Take care of yourself!

@RMS0209 i know, I understand! It’s horrible just testing every day and just waiting and not knowing what’s happening! I’ve been there. It’s so hard when you want something so much! Hopefully it’s just a little late!

I don't ovulate every month and I know it's difficult but there's nothing you can do. Try (I'm trying) to live your life and not focus on TTC, when you get that peak then BAM get to it haha. That's the only way to stay sane I think. Usually if you ovulate late your period comes late too x

@PeanuttyButter im the same! In the last 15 months I have had 6 periods but only caught ovulation 4 times so I also don’t always ovulate! It’s a tough journey isn’t it!

From my experience my peak can vary by about 5 days. I can also get a sudden surge, so even if it's low one day it can suddenly jump the next day to a peak. I would suggest keep testing, and twice a day if possible as sometimes the surge can be quick. So maybe early afternoon then evening. Best of luck xx

Well for anybody reading this in the same situation.. CD22 finally something looking good

The photo isn't enlarging for me (issues with the new site?) but from the small pic that looks positive as the lines look the same colour - if not then it's pretty much positive!! Definitely test again today to see if it's even darker. If it's lighter would assume that was your peak x

Hi @JaneGnR88 I'm having issues too.. have had to come on the laptop rather than using the phone app.
Yesterday was definitely high and today must be my peak, I got a great picture that I can hopefully send to you when the app wants to play ball again.
Going to test the same times as yesterday - 11am,4pm & 9pm! so far 11am's was great x

@Janey3090 hello! I am sorry I forogt all about this thread... so I got my peak on Thursday and ovulated on Saturday my OVUSENSE confirmed it, wonderful so officially 4DPO today.

Excellent news! Well I’m CD20 and still bloody waiting…if it happens. The best my OPKs have managed this month so far is 0.33 on CD12, 0.35 on CD18 and 0.41 yesterday before dropping down to the mid/low teens again. My experience with DD2 gives me slight hope but I’m going to be climbing the walls if CD25 comes and goes with nothing….
