It's my first month officially TTC, my third and my partners first child.

Every month 7 days before AF is due I get a fever and feel a bit rough. I'm roughly 7DPO, AF due in 7 days and have my fever as usual.

Would this rule out pregnancy? Has anyone else had the same and been pregnant? I tested today and obviously it was stark white. I didn't track my ovulation other than by CM and how I felt. So I'm pretty sure I ovulated around the 8th or 9th but could of been later.

I know I'm cheeky to expect it to happen first time but with my other 2 it was immediate both times! I think I'm super fertile but obviously have a new partner now and he's worried about his own fertility. He's 24 I'm 28.

Yeah that's what I thought but as I'm showing all normal period symptoms I just kind of assumed perhaps I didn't conceive this month.

Oh bless you well fingers crossed for you! I've got some FRER coming today so may test in a couple days x

I tried for 18 months for baby #1 with no luck. Started fertility testing via GP and life got in the way so I stopped focusing on it. Three months later I had my shock bfp 😵‍💫 I tested four days after my period was due and pregnancy didn't even cross my mind as a genuine possibility. I had every period symptom going - strong cramps, emotional etc - it was like I had my period except there was no bleeding. And there it was, bfp. That sadly ended in mc but the point remains that you really can never tell and I know now not to judge it against pms and period symptoms. It's so true that you're not out until you come on ♥️

When I got my bfp a few years ago I had all my usual af symptoms (including cramps). The only difference was hard nipples ALL the time and things smelling strong.

Well I'll have my fingers crossed for us all then! Me and partner booked a spontaneous night away so I'm currently in a hotel, and won't have chance to test tomorrow (8dpo) so it will distract me and I'll test Monday and see!

I get hot flashes n feel sweaty about a week or so before af I had that this month and thought oh that's me out but no I got my bfp a few days ago! So you never know!

I got back home from night away and bloody tested 😂 8DPO and BFN but I expected it. Don't know why I do this to myself!

I've had two chemicals and a miscarriage and I've never ever tested positive before 12dpo. Once you've been trying a few months the novelty will wear off. I don't bother with FRERs now as I'm just pissing on money.

I have some symptoms but I don't know if they would be PMS or Pregnancy. I would say I am about CD 22 but not sure on when my AF would be as I am irregular. Is this too early to test? I'm sure I have already ovulated.

Yeah I mean with my last 2 kids I went through a lot of tests but I hadn't tracked anything and that was after I'd had a BFP and I just kept testing to see if it was real! This is the first time I've actually tracked, my youngest is 4 so it's been a while and with a new partner there are always concerns with fertility and sperm quality etc.

If it doesn't happen this month it's fine but I will try to track my ovulation next month so I at least know for sure my peak! And definitely won't be getting as many tests as I dread to think how much it's cost so far.

7dpo is way too early. Try to hold out for 12.

What do you mean by fever - how high is temp?

It was at 39degrees max but happens every month so normal for me. AF due next Saturday 👍🏻

I haven't thought about it, I had the copper coil for the last few years and got it removed Jan this year. So feb, March and now April I've had this fever always 7 days before AF. Also with diarrhoea and stomach cramping too. Very frustrating!

Perhaps if I don't get lucky this month I'll ask my GP to see something else is going on 🤔

I'll wait until missed period or at least 12DPO. I'll make notes of anything that comes up too. For me, I have mainly noticed my breast has been really tender and painful on both sides. It started on the left and spread to the right side where it felt painful as it went under my armpits to my back. That was unbearable. Others have been nausea, dizzy, cramping lightly, hips uncomfortable, feeling tired, generally achy and headaches.

Yeah my AF is due Saturday which would make me 14DPO then, so I think I'll take another test in a couple days and then if nothing I'll just see if AF appears or not. I'm having all my normal period symptoms though so I do think she's coming!

I've had horrible cramping on my right side this morning, enough to make me bend over in pain, and then just cramping all around my abdomen but again could be AF symptoms. Hate the waiting game!

@MissBlue93 How are the cramps now? I hope they have eased and aren't as painful now. I had light cramping yesterday and I'm in the same predicament of wondering if it's PMS or not. I am irregular so can never be able to predict easily when AF might be. I look at past cycles and see how long they were. I have a feeling my AF could be a week away if it makes an appearance. Do you think I would be getting symptoms at this time? My breast was agony yesterday though. A bit better today but still tender.

They've eased off a bit now but still got general cramps which is usual with AF for me.

I guess it's hard if you're irregular as you don't really know! But depends if you know when you ovulated or not?

@MissBlue93 I'm glad they've eased off a bit. Do you know how late in the day you can check ovulation with an OPK? I have different CM today and not sure if I'm actually ovulating today or if it's a symptom of pregnancy. I do have Digital Clearblue Ovulation but not sure if it's too late to test today? I have never used any Ovulation kits in the past so wouldn't know.

I think any time of day as you can ovulate at any point and may be stronger in evening etc but I'm not an expert as never tracked mine!
