Hi would really like to talk to people in their 40s trying for their first baby. I’m pretty new to this, only on my second cycle but also scared time is slipping away from me. I’m 10 Dpo today and got a BFN on FRER. I know I’m not out until I’m out but still feel disappointed. Anyway, would love to hear from those in the same boat or any success stories of first babies after 40 xx

I have 3 kids, hubby has 2, none together

I turned 40 in November and have just officially entered the TTC phase. I have an older son of 19 years from my previous marriage.

Not myself, but my DH's aunt had her first at 41, I'm told she had a lot of trouble beforehand, though. I only know that from talking to my MIL who had her two kids at the drop of a hat and I was agonising over why it wasn't happening for us. You're not alone.
