Positive opk at 10 days?

Hi everyone,

I'm completely new to ovulation tests as only stated using them this month. Did my first one today and I had a positive but I'm only 10 days into my cycle. Is this right?

The line wasn't the strongest ever but it definitely wasn't bad.

My cycles are usually around 32 days long.

Please can anyone advise if this is normal/right? Thank you 😊

Hello,

The test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line for it to be positive. If your cycle is normally around 32 days you could potentially ovulate between CD14-18 if you have a 14 luteal phase. I have a 12 day luteal phase with 35 day cycles so would normally get a positive opk around CD 23ish. Of course this can change at any point but you tests are probably on the way to being positive. 🙌🏼

I used the Premom app along with Easy@home ovulation sticks as you can take photos and upload to the app - it's marks it high/low/peak etc helped me get pregnant with my little one!

It's honestly all so confusing and took me a fair few months to get my head around it 🙊😅 here's a picture of my positive opk last year the month I got my BFP!

The ones on Amazon are a box of 50 & pretty cheap but any sticks work with the app 😀There's also the Femometer app too but I'd got my head around Premom by the time I'd found out about the second app! Xx
