Semen analysis interpretation - please help!

Please can someone help interpret my partners semen analysis results?!!

I just don't understand it all but freaking out a little and feeling sad! Ahhh.

He has got to rebook in for another test and the results below were after 7days+ sex absistence.

The count is very low, particularly for a long abstinence. Normal forms is okay ... it's the hardest one to really accurately measure. Motility not great.

The great news is there is a lot that can be done for sperm. It's a waiting game because sperm take 10 weeks to regenerate.

Your partners should get checked out by a urologist to check he doesn't have something that is majorly impacting these results such as a varicocele or a hidden infection.

He should also not take hot baths, wear tight underwear, smoke, booze should be limited - our consultant said sharing a bottle of wine a week would be fine and having 1 coffee a day is fine too.

It's really shit and I completely understand how disappointing and scary it is. At least you have a reason now and you can begin to plan accordingly. If you're UK based, you'll probably be offered IVF with ICSI.
