Hi everyone!

Anyone else trying to conceive #1 and looking for some pals to chat to?

I'm 29 and I'm on technically, my third cycle TTC. My first two cycles we tried tentatively as I had only just got my coil removed and didn't want to pressure myself too much. This cycle has been a little different though 🙊 and I started using OPKs to really pinpoint ovulation.

Currently 4dpo so in my tww and definitely looking for some support though this stressful time 🥰

I am also 4dpo, on my first cycle Never realised how confusing this process would be! So grateful for forums etc as apart from DH I don’t want to talk to anyone IRL about it

@everley honestly, these forums have been such a blessing to me and taught me so much. So much support from MNers. Are you planning to test before AF or wait for it to be late?

@Carlswhite29x AF due on Saturday but it always a couple of days early so I tested this morning It was negative however. I’m going to test again at the weekend. What are you planning on doing?

@everley I honestly don't know yet. In the past I have only taken pg tests when I'm late but I'm tempted to start early. Either way, I'll be disappointed if I'm not PG so whether I wait for AF or take a test, I'll still be upset. Unless I get a BFP of course . I also feel like DP might tell me off if I start taking PG tests before AF 🙊 He has already told me to calm down this month when I was buying loads of OPKs 😂😂😂

I was so sick of peeing on a stick from all the OPKs! The novelty soon wore off 😂

@everley I can see why that would happen. I'm already thinking I'm going to get annoyed with it down the line 😂

I’ve just done another test and it was negative. AF due today but not appeared yet. I had my hopes up as my period is always a day or two early but nothing yet, which is so unusual for me. I don’t even have any of my pre-period signs yet.

Hi everyone. I'm 6DPO and symptom spotting already 🙄😅 I feel a bit light headed and have period-type cramps but I get cramping on and off throughout the month anyway so could mean anything or nothing!

@lettyloulou I'm 6dpo too! I've tried to stop the symptom spotting as it's too soon. So weird tho as someone I haven't seen for a while today asked me if I was pregnant 😮 I don't know whether I should be offended or not 😂 I haven't gained weight. Very weird.

AF is still not here, due today but I’m normally 1/2 days early. But just been to the toilet and there’s light brown tinged CM. Never had a period start like this, it’s normally dark red/almost black on the first day. Just been down a rabbit hole reading about implantation bleeding and I’m more confused than ever

I'm 9DPO/CD23 today. Tested with a One Step cheapie and bfn 👎🏻 I've got one FRER but I can't decide when to use it!

Late to the thread but would love to join..

I’m 27 trying TTC #1, I had the implant for 9 years and had it removed June 2021. I’d say it was about 3 months for my cycles to regulate after having the implant removed. We decided in September 2021 to ‘officially’ TTC and track all my cycles.

February 2022, we got our first BFP but miscarried in March 2022. Still no period since the miscarriage but got my first Positive Ovulation test on Monday. Although, me and my partner have not had the conversation about when is best to TTC again. We will need to have it over the next few days. I want to start TTC instantly but I also want to make sure he is ready.

I love mumsnet for sharing stories, journeys and hearing everyone's stories. This forum has really helped me through my TTC journey so far.

I usually use the cheap ones for the for early testing (9 dpo) and a FRER or pink dye if/when my period is late. My personal preference is first response for a FRER test. Hope you get your BFP soon.

@Carlswhite29x Hi! I'm in the same boat TTC #1. I'm 34, so a little scared of my age. I'm on my 3rd cycle as sadly AF showed up late Sunday night and I'm currently on CD3.

Myself and DH have been on Pregnacare vitabiotics for the last month. I'm waiting on the London Fertility Clinic to give dates for myself and DH to have tests done to ensure we're both healthy. While we're unaware of any issues, there's no harm in getting checked.

I have a 35 day cycle which can differ by a few days annoyingly, but I'm using easy@home OPKs and Premom app to track ovulation and it's got quite tedious already! Lots of peeing on sticks 😄Hopefully we all get our BFPs soon! Sending lots of baby dust to each and all 😊

@Laurzz of course you can join 🙂 so sorry for your loss! It's a tough journey TTC, it's nice that there is a place we can all support each other.

@SarahShorty welcome! Good luck with your testing, it certainly doesn't hurt to get some check ups done and be more prepared. Yes! It is quite tedious to say the least isn't it! I can see myself getting sick of OPKs pretty quick 😂

How is everyone doing? Where are we all at in our cycles? I'm 12dpo but haven't tested. I'm going to wait for AF to arrive as I feel like it's coming in the next couple of days. I don't usually get period pains/sore boobs before my period but I have done this week so definitely feel like I'm out this month.

@Carlswhite29x TTC journey can be lonely but its once you join this forum you realise your not alone. Interestingly this morning I have found someone on Mumsnet who conceived at the same time, miscarried, and has the same cycle days as me – how amazing is that!!!?

I’m doing good, still waiting on my period but should be due in the next few weeks. I’m 3 dpo but not done much ‘trying’ this cycle. So, I’ll count myself out this one also.

You know your body better than anyone but sore books and light cramping can be early signs of pregnancy. Good Luck! Keep us all updated 😀

@Laurzz that is amazing! It's so good to have a place where you can find so many people in the same boat as you. Especially when you in the tww as that can feel extremely stressful and more like you're waiting two years than two weeks 😂

Yeah that's true, I'm just trying not to get too hung up and possible pregnancy symptoms. I was 98% sure I was pregnant last month but got two BFNs after my AF was a week late. Trying to save myself from too much disappointment this time round but I know I will still be upset if AF arrives. I will definitely keep you all updated though.

Hello everyone, just checking in..

Currently 8dpo, probably will test around 12 dpo because I just can't help myself LOL. Been feeling abit under the weather this week and breasts are very sore. Still no period since MC but I'm expecting it to arrive in the next few days. Although, I've been having vivid dreams about babies the last few nights. Could it be a sign? Probably just me over thinking everything 😂.

I don't tend to test each cycle as it's too disappointing, but something feels a bit different this cycle, have been getting a few 'symptoms'. Aching boobs, which doesn't often happen this time of the cycle for me, and crampy/nauseous. Couldn't wait and took a test this afternoon, 11 dpo, something very very faint caught my eye, not sure it even caught it on the photo to be honest - so going to be a bit of a waiting game over the next few days!

How's everyone else getting on?

Hey @Laurzz thanks! Same to you, I have my fingers crossed 🤞 I know what you mean about feeling odd, not sure how to explain it but today my stomach has felt 'full'. Although I do wonder if I'm looking out for more symptoms and thus noticing them more than I would if it was any other time of the month... it all messes with your head a bit!

Did another test this afternoon (couldn't help myself, when really I should use FMU too!). Can slightly see something, not sure if it's evap line tho
