Still in with a chance?

So some of you may have seen another previous thread of mine, but I am currently TTC no2 and have been off the pill since end of Jan.

I am tracking my cycles using a few different apps.
Two apps are currently saying that my period is two days late. The other two apps are predicting that period is due any day now.

Well anyway, I was out shopping earlier and just couldn't resist picking up a pack of FRER tests. Unfortunately a BFN :-(

Even if my period is due in the next day or two, surely a FRER would detect pregnancy as it claims to detect at least 6 days before a missed period right? Does this mean I'm definitely out for this month? I really should have waited until the end of the week to test but I couldn't help but cave 😂

Basically just wanting to know if anybody has ever tested negative so close to their predicted period and then gone on to test positive eventually...

I know I'm rambling but I can always rely on MN but for little chit chat lol

I didn’t test positive on a FRER until the day AF was due but that then turned into a chemical, I’m not sure if it was linked.

Really not sure what's happening to be honest. AF is due any moment but I'm not getting any of my usual signs or symptoms (cramps, sore boobs etc). But I'm also not getting any signs of conception. With my first, I just KNEW. I felt so different.

I'm going to wait until the weekend and if AF hasn't shown up by then, I'll do another test.

If you've ovulated later than you think, then there's still a chance that it wouldn't be picked up on a FRER yet. 🤞

Because I've only been off the pill since end of Jan I feel like my cycles are still settling and so I'm not entirely confident of my ovulation dates. I keep going to the toilet to check if AF has arrived but no sign yet!
But also having no symptoms of any kind is making me doubt that I could be pregnant. When I conceived my son, I felt exhausted, boobs sore, you name it. My gut instinct told me I was pregnant. But right now I feel nothing 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not in with a chance unfortunately - AF showed up this morning 😩 on to the next cycle!
