This isn't fair

Hello everyone I know I posted previously similar to this when I was 15DPO but for some reason I can't seem to load the thread.
I just need a bit of a rant and to know there's others out there feeling the same. 17 months of TTC number 1, both just into our 30s; sperm fine, hormone levels normal, ultrasound fine, slightly overweight (me). (We are on a nhs list to see someone but god knows when that will be) Cycles range from 26-32 days (although I've only had 1 cycle at each extreme - generally they are 27-29). Always get a positive opk and always get ewcm. And yet still not even a hint of pregnancy :-(
This month I am late (currently CD34 and 16 DPO (+ opk v slightly later this month on day 17) We DTD 5 days in the fertile week this month and 2 days in each of the next 2 weeks. I have never been this late in 2 years of being off contraception and I have never missed a period. Usually my issue is a bit of pre AF spotting so I always know I'm out.
Whilst I have 0 pregnancy symptoms I still equalled late period to finally getting my BFP but no. Negative on both a FRER and a CB early.
Why can't it be my turn?l I have tried all combinations of tracking closely/loosely/not at all. And literally where is my period?!
Sorry for the long ranting post!!

@tryingforbabyh you are not alone! My partner and I are the same. Both in our early 30's, both seemingly healthy and waiting for our referral as it's been over 2 years of trying.

It can feel incredibly frustrating and lonely and believe me I have shed a lot of tears! The amount of time I spend scouring the internet for 'symptoms'.

Just know you're not alone and I wish you all the luck!

You said you're a bit overweight. I am also, and was when ttc but i read that hormones reside in fat and often putting on a little weight if you're under weight, or losing a bit if you're over weight can really help. I tried this, hit the gym, lost a few KG and wham - both times it worked for me.
I was ttc both mine for 2 years - miscarriages and disappointment but we got there - good luck

It isn’t fair and it’s heartbreaking.

Have you tried any natural means of increasing your odds? If not, it could be something to look into while you’re waiting for the medical referral.

‘It Starts with the Egg’ by Rebecca Fett rounds up all the research on diet and what to avoid to improve egg health, so could be worth a look, if you haven’t done so already. Other options could be seeing a nutritionist for both of you, acupuncture or hypnotherapy for you. All of these can increase conception rates.

Thanks for replying both.
Yes I'm working on the weight loss and already go to the gym. I am a size 12 so not massively over but not quite in normal BMI.
Have read it starts with the egg and tried a variety of supplements etc. also tried reflexology so maybe accupuncture next.
I just need my period now to fully get rid of those last glimmers of hope about a late BFP and focus on the next cycle. Tried sex, white underwear and new bed sheets all with no success lol
