How to conceive a baby boy

Hi any tips on how to conceive a baby boy, I already have a girl and ttc as this will be my last pregnancy due to health issues and advised my doctors so would love to have one of each sex

Huh. Doggy style. That explains my two boys then.

My instinct was the same as the first poster. Boy sperm is smaller, faster and dies quicker so sex literally just prior to ovulation should mean that they're hanging about and ready to catch that egg. Girls are slower, bigger and live longer.

But no guarantees. We didn't try for a specific sex either time and just dtd roughly across a 10 day ovulation window (my cycles jump between 28 and 35 days so difficult to pin down).

That if you want a female cow go to the fertilisation clinic in rural India later on the day as female sperm is heavier and sinks to the bottom of the flask.

So get a flask. Fill it with sperm. let it settle. Turkey baster with the top?

*my advice might be based on experience from playing Sims 4, but I reckon it’s as likely to work as any other advice in influencing whether you get a boy or girl Grin

Well I had read somewhere that doggy-style gives you a greater chance of a boy. I have only a sample size of one for my personal trial of this theory, but it worked that time! Blush
See my sample of this method means you have 100% chance of a girl. 😂

I used to drink a lot of sweet drinks like cherry sourz with lemonade.

Try having a contraceptive failure. That gave me my eldest - a girl.

Or try TTC for over a year. That gave me my youngest - a girl.

We've done the opposite of most of these and ended up with a boy every time 🙈
Honestly the best advice I can give is dismantling the preferences in your head because you have no say over it and they're total bollocks anyway. Good luck!

We think DS2 was conceived in the shower. But DS1 the bed. So either could work.
I think the poster who commented about hoping DH sends over a Y chromosome was the most accurate to be fair.

I have never specifically tried for either sex but I have two of each. With the boys we were actively trying and (I have a very regular 28 day cycle) always made sure we had sex on or very close to ovulation date
With the girls we weren't actively trying but weren't preventing and with both of them I conceived early on my cycle like day 9 or 10. I only know this as both times either myself or my husband was away at work so it could have only been at those specific times

Have sex every day until the day you ovulate and then stop.
