erratic periods since stopping breastfeeding - now TTC - help!

My DD is 9mo and I stopped breastfeeding in September; had first AF in late November but nothing since. Is this normal? We have been TTC since my DH's return from army tour just before xmas - is it unlikely that we will conceive now until after I get my next AF or could anything happen?!

hi ya not sure about this but ny cousin has just stopped breast feeding and she is still waitng in her af to return !!

she is actually thinking of ttc and said she needed a proper cycle to start for her to get preg!!

i would go to the doc and see what he says
