Medichecks tests

Hi all

I just wondered if anybody has had any experience with the medichecks tests? In particular the 3 day and 21 day tests.

I’m currently 6dpo, we’ve been trying for a year, I’m starting to think there may be something not right (I’ve thought this for years but never had to think too much about it as I’ve never tried to have a baby apart from the last year) and I’m just not feeling very hopeful this cycle, I don’t know whether that’s just because I don’t want to get my hopes up like every other cycle😬

Any help would be appreciated because I’m going to lose the will to live😂x

Hiya, I've got the 21 progesterone one to use 7 days before my period, so possibly end of next week once I know I've ovulated.

I've used medichecks post MMC and it helped diagnose a thyroid prob and also low-ish vit d, so quite happy with them as a service!

I did a full woman's health check post miscarriage, mainly for peace of mind, if you did want to start there, you can then share with NHS to get any issues diagnosed further. Hopefully you won't have any, but it's one way to get an overview of where you are at. X

@MO22 oh that sounds brilliant! I’ll definitely have to purchase! Thank you for your help x

@Chlo1995 hi OP
I ordered both of these this month, unfortunately I struggled to get enough blood out my finger to do the day 1/5 one but I am going to try something different for the progesterone when the time comes.
I know a few people have used it and liked it
I imagine I'll like it too if I can get enough blood Grin

@RMS0209 oh that’s interesting, I’ll have to make sure I’ve got warm hands before I attempt it😂x

I tried the washing hands, warming them... I was standing doing star jumps 😂 but sending you lots of luck. X

@RMS0209 can’t imagine I’ll be doing star jumps but hopefully everything works out!x

Hello, yes I’ve used Medichecks twice for a full thyroid check and the day 21 progesterone. The results come with a brief explanation from a doctor and are very easy to understand. Getting the blood can be a bit tricky if you’re squeamish but I’d totally recommend the company.

Got my results back today and everything is looking good, I was half expecting some bad results as were a year ttc and nothing yet!

But very impressed with medichecks, I think I’ll go for the day 21 test and they’ve also recommended the anti-mullerian test too so I’ll have to look into that one…

But fingers crossed everything is looking good and we hopefully won’t be waiting much longer for our very much wanted baby🤞🏼x

Pleased for you! Wishing you all the best luck.

I did my progesterone 21 day yesterday so hoping for that back in the next few days, although I am pretty sure I haven't ovulated this month sadly. Anyhow, knowledge is power right?!

Chlo1995 · 19/04/2022 18:56

It’s looking like I’m just about to enter my fertile days too so I’m trying to keep positive and hoping that I do ovulate and there’s nothing to worry about but who knows what’ll happen!😬

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!x
